Suggestion to mods: Could some sort of FAQ be included in the first post, answering a couple of common questions, such as ones regarding delivery dates, the availability of disc 1, etc.

I wanted to get the $45 pair of discs 2 and 3 without using paypal (because I hate pay pal). I have tried repeated emails to dirk and stex cd, but to no avail over the course of some months, anyone help me out here with how to get these discs?

Tangentally: If I had done paypal, would I have still not received a cd in all this time or do they do those faster?

I would say they are worth it. It would be alot faster  to get one, and you wouldnt have to download anytinhg. It alredy comes with all the depdencies you need so that wont be a issue either.

Just got my cd today..I have order this on April 25 and got it on May 14...So it took 3 weeks...Its well put together but on some stuff would not let me install..Said something about vol 2 not in disc drive when it is...

The discs come from Canada, so I would allow 3-4 weeks.

There is no donors list that I am aware of.

I made a donation of $45 through PayPal on the Twenty-Seventh of July, with the intention of receiving both volumes Two and Three. I wrote an email to Dirk four days ago, explaining that I have yet to receive both volumes and to confirm that the donation was received and the discs shipped (I reside in the Midwestern U.S.); I've yet to receive a reply from him. Is there any information regarding the discs? The reason that I made the donation was to receive volumes Two and Three, so I'd really like some information regarding my "donation".

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I can't find any contact information.  On 8/4/10 I donated $30 through Paypal for the STEX vol. 3 disk.  Today is 8/26, and I still haven't received the disk or any communication telling me what is going on.  The impression I got from this site is that they are mailed out every Monday.  Can someone please help?

As I mentioned to the other guys, try sending an email to dirktator (at) simtropolis.com. dirk's the one who sends out the disks, so he should be able to help you out.

Hummelwagen: Just to let you know, I haven't forgotten you.. still waiting for a response from dirk myself. I suspect he's been swamped with a busy week or two in RL. I'll see if I can nab one of the admins, they may be able to advise us or contact dirk.
