Which LRM version did you install? LRM v5.1 should work fine with NAM 31.1 if you install it right (that means, it loads after ALL NAM files, even the extra overrides in "Plugins\z___NAM"

I don't recall. I'll check when I get home.

Where do I find these? I assumed they were part of the NAM, but can't seem to find them. Thanks.

EDIT: Hey cool, I just got my first reputation point! Not sure how these are acquired, but I'm a good guy and would love to contribute more, but for now I've only been asking embarrassingly stupid questions here. 0:)

you have to make the roundabouts.

connect a 2x2 square of streets or roads together and it will make it into a roundabout

On the subject where do the little tiny end of street cul-de-sac's come from? Not the ones you make like a roundabout but the little tiny ones I keep seeing around in everyone's screen shots?

Can you show one that you are talking about? I only know how to make little cul-de-sacs like Higu said...

(Yes, there is one.)

Which one? The one that was linked above, or the one in the NAM? Because the one in the NAM does one better than the long-time reigning CDS mod: It adds Road cul-de-sacs. (In case you didn't know that, either.)

Well, any reason why there are no diagonal RHW starters? Diagonal starters for the RHW are very handy dandy and can make interchange building easier. Will diagonal starters for the RHW be included in NAM 32? :)

The problem here is making them (diagonal directional flags are more complicated than orthogonal directional flags), and that gets doubly (and triply) complicated when you begin dealing with two-tile and three-tile networks.

Though there are diagonal RHW-4 and MIS starters (L0 only) affixed to certain RHW ramp interfaces... You'd have to detach them off of the ramp, which is fairly easy...

Well, it's okay if you limit it to RHW-4, MIS, and (probably mid to low chance, but possible) RHW-6S because they are the ones used for interchange building.

Is that the new NAM? I have NAM 30 and don't see that anywhere.

Sure I'll try NAM 31.1. Problem is the textures are often glitching up (EVERYTHING with the wrong texture) in SimCity 4, so I need a good plug-in folder clean-out anyway.

~ COMING SOON! Exciting new projects! ~

Is there any way I can restore the slope settings of the old Bullet Train Mod (I do suppose they were baked in the mod)? It was very strict, I remember, and this has changed since it was incorporated in the NAM.

Hmm... This slope mod still works for me. Will investigate...

Edit: I use the Ennedi Slope mod (file smooth 212) which has a very restrictive slope for monorail, possibly equal to or more restrictive than the old BTM Slope mod. I would recommend using it as a replacement.

Hm. I'm not very keen on downloading a new slope mod since I already have one... Is there any way for me to incorporate the slope mod of the old BTM in the slope mod I use?

-----

NAM suggestion: this piece, but with paths in the other direction. I could use it quite well for my new interchange :P

This is no longer a problem, thanks to Magneto's help, everything's fine :)

May I ask what happened? Was the old BTM slope mod extracted or was there another issue?

What is this I don't even

In theory...

I'm not sure what exactly those images are intended to show.  The OWR-1 is going to remain strictly as-is going forward, and won't be getting any fixes/additions/improvements in its current form.  We're changing the base network on it for NAM 32, from OWR to Street, as in its current form, it behaves unrealistically from a traffic simulator standpoint.  Before anyone asks, your existing OWR-1s will remain in tact with legacy support, but the starter piece will just be given a new false intersection, to switch the base network.

I noticed the list of items in the documentation under starter pieces doesn't match what I have. Basically there are L3 and L4 starters in the documentation but I don't see them anywhere in the game. I am looking to cross an elevated highway with an MIS. I have an L2 EMIS to L3 EMIS Transition Starterless but don't see any way of connecting it to anything. Here's a pic of what I'm trying to do. Maybe I'm just not finding the right combination of pieces.

L3 and L4 have been disabled due to crashing issues.  You have to select the option to use the expanded version of the controller when you install the NAM to get them; but you'll see any performance problems that you had with 31.0 return.

My suggestion is to go underneath the highway (go down to L1).

This is not necessarily true if you have the 4 GB patch installed.
