    the basic idea of UI / UX is not to make things more than 3 clicks away from objective or less

    Like update. transportation,Landscape know show up for me and Custom Content has it's own Menu. The problem still is trying to place a place even if I have it by a Road still won't let me put it and sometimes opens another Menu. Another problem is Streets sometimes is placing them off the Gird. If your zoomed all the way in you should be able to place Commercial and so on so easy.

    Good day xoxide  .  several of your mods when I've tried to download will bring me to the forums after waiting 5 sec's to download .   your oneway roads , ped path . Is there a way you might check this out an give an idea how to download them .   Thank you     :D

    we are working on download mirrors but until things are stable and we feel comfortable we will not be publishing them for anything that team 1 has pushed out in the last 6 months.

     

    in the mean time you must actually go online and log into the forums.. sometimes resetting even your cookies since its all just behaviors of simtrop not an actual problem with the download link

    we check the links almost daily and everything is ok

    I had an idea for the RCIPlop side of things.  To further integrate it into the game put a price to build each of the RCIPlops.   Say 100 to build a small building, 500 a medium density building and 1000 for a high density building.

     

    I realise that automatic zoning is free, but to add cost to the prebuilt buildings would add more of a challenge.

    I installed Akar yesterday and it looks very sleek. Well done guys!

     

    For improvements I reccommend adding the road package to the same zip file or same package and keep the rest seperate. I first only installed the base Akar file and found that I could not build any roads. The other packages (decorations, subways, Avalon, etc. ) are all optional but obviously not being able to build roads is essential.

     

    I also stronly disagree with merging fire/health etc. Akar's strong point is that you can instantly use it without having to learn a new menu structure. Switching the basic structure would be very confusing for new users for little gain. Often it's better to keep something less effecient but easily recognisable over more effecient but forcing people to relearn basic skills. Don't mess with people's mussle memory unless you REALLY need the extra space.

     

    Re-aranging the new menus (like Avalon) is fair game though.

    as for today, i scrap the power/water in gov menu.

     

    Akar is UI customization, its not a mod, it holds the mods. so you may need to instal AkarRoadSets to have all the road mods. Besides, by doing this, it also respect the original author for uploading the road mods.

    Under Custom RCI like Fast Food get it's own Menu or Commercial Menu replaces Medium,High and so on Density with like Food that would have McDonalds,Burger King,Donut Shop,if a Taco Bell,Red Lobster are made and so on,also like Gas Station,Retail,Banks and so on their own Menu.

    hello,

    im having issues with the Akar mod, the cursor and the plopable objects are not togther with the mouse as in my mouse would be hovering over the building icon but the plopable building would be floating on the top of the map (top of scren) area moving  along side the movement of my mouse but the building and the mouse cursor itself are wayyyyy seperated apart...... Fix ideas?

     

     

     

     

    (Notice the building on top... the actualy cursor is still over the building icon (doesnt appear on screenshot but look for the selected building... its there just not in screenshot............. this happens for roads to from this mod.....:/ ?p6mSczQ.png

    hello,

    Those are something we can't fix at the moment. I also noticed that it only occurs on certain map. Plus its Avalon, not Akar.

    you might need to exit the whole game, I'll give it a test the said map.

    With Orion, you can only plop buildings on North and East on outside 2k, its not RCI plop mod issues.
