Welcome in Watson City! A very new city with a clean air and great shopping centers!

 

I know some of you like interchanges, so I made a few pictures of the highway!

This is the shopping center (on the left) and an Industrial zone (on the right). You can also see a skyscraper on the left, wich is the 3rd in height: it is 124m/406ft tall.

 

There's also a resting place, just a 100 meters from the city.

 

The city also has a nice American Football team: the Watson Football Lions.

 

The WFL Stadium is close to the Industrial zone. The Industrial zone isn't large, so the sims can breath a clean air!

 

They also have an IKEA. You can buy all your furniture here!

The Winterson Church from 1377. It is 95m/311ft high and the most visited sight in Watson City.

 

The Ritz Carlton Hotel is 136m/446ft tall and it is the 2nd tallest building in Watson City.

 

This building is called Hope Building and it is 147m/482ft tall. It is the tallest building in Watson City. It is a residence building.

Lionsgate is an Industrial city in the north of Wayland, the capitol city.

Montos City

Inhabitants: 46.000

 

Hello everyone! I'm back with (finally) a big update

It is the largest city in Flatlands after Wayland (capitol city) and it ment to have over 100.000 inhabitants in 3 years.

The city doesn't have much Industrial companies and the most of them are Hightech.

 

Now time for the pictures!

 

This is the jail, little church and two graveyards.

 

And this is the city its largest hospital with some appartements and the train rail. The train is very much used in the city. It brings you everywhere.

 

 

2 schools and a museum.

 

The big Geography Museum.

 

This is the big Montos Cathedral. It is the oldest building in the city.

 

These buildings are near the Montos Cathedral and are very important for the city skyline.

The monument of the war of 1963. A very huge war with millions of deads.

 

 

The skyscrapers near the Montos City Stadium.

 

Did I say stadium???

 

Yes, I did. Montos City is a great sport city, with sports as: football/soccer, American football, baseball and tennis.

Update 5

A journey trough Flatlands (by train)

 

Welcome to update 5 of Flatlands!

Here is the region view. (sorry for the red/green/blue/black airplanes. I don't know what happened to them!)

 

Today, we're gonna make a journey trough the whole country (by train). We'll begin in Montos City and end in Wayland. We will also pass Watson City. From the bridge over the highway you can see the city skyline very well. It is a beautiful sight!

 

"All aboard! All aboard!" The machinist is already calling the people who bought a ticket for the very special train ride trough Flatlands. It is for the Football World Cup. Only a few people could be on the train, so the tickets were sold out immediately. The second special thing is: The people who bought a ticket will sit in an antic 1878 train model and they will have a meet and greet with some players of the national football team!

 

We'll start at University Station (Montos City):

 

Many people like this white skyscraper from 2011.

I like the railroads, great transition through the city! Maybe you could use a few elevated rails as well to add some diversity to the city.

I agree with that- was thinking the same thing as I looked through it- On my own note I like the layout. Try train stations by goober and others- it'd look better the the hunck of junk Maxis came out with- on A plus side I do love the CJ its a great read.

Looks nice though I'm not sure about the whole rail intersection on the road but other than that a nice rail network.

Nice, but I think you still have NAM V31. The NAM team has already released V31.2, so your NAM is outdated. Don't download from the STEX because that's 31.1 which you skipped. Download from the LEX which is 31.2. Be sure you registered there!

Did you check your NAM version? Here's how: look at the bottom of the highway menu and you'll see a NAM logo there. Hover over it and it will show what controller do you have. If it displays Controller V169, (which is NAM 31) you have an outdated NAM. But if it displays Controller V181 184, that's NAM 31.2 (latest version). Hope if this helps.
