That's a coincidence due to the new-ish implementation of FLUP tunnels based on the subway tool. In this case, you only need to change the pattern to one that doesn't match the A type ramp (one tile to the outside and two to the front) to fix it. I'm not sure if this would compromise the functionality, but just to be sure I would say that's better if you don't get any highways on your subways, or viceversa.

Yeah, I already figured that was the case. Already fixed it up. I would imagine functionality would be compromised as the paths would be changed from subways to road traffic (I think). Still looks kinda goofy though, hence why I posted it here

A bug you tolerate and work around is an 'Oddity', right?

This cheeky little fella here, the 'High Security Apartment' is a growable residential that if you demolish or allow to be developed into something richer, will destroy your city's water supply!

One of the exemplars must be out of whack, a negative result when the lot is removed that tanks the water system.
Because I know what it is, and have no reason to demolish it (i like the chonky SimMars look) I shall let it live.

That feels oddly threatening and terrifying for some reason.

@Haljackey Park Rangers' retreat, maybe?

@asasnat Lol, that ain't fertilizer your farmers are spreading all over! On a serious note, you might want to check your garbage capacity, trash piles like that mean you gonna need more landfills (in case you didn't know already).

I used to hear about being able to see trash when garbage is at capacity, but never actually saw it in game.

What is that circular eye?  Now that I see it, I cannot unsee it.

I spotted another one!

Just northeast of Manchester, New Hampshire, and west of Portsmouth on my crazy-sized, scale-accurate Greater Boston map:

It's smaller than the eye over Seoul, but peaking at it in MicroDEM shows a definite anomaly:

Blunder's Cascadia Tree Controller also detected it:

(Sigh, I still gotta clean off the cliffs around the lakes.)

Goggle tells me these are the Pawtuckaway Mountains in Pawtuckaway State Park and that they are a special type of geologic dike known as a ring dike.  As a volcano caldera forms, erupts, and then collapses, it creates surrounding fractures and rings faults, which fill upwards with magma.  The magma cools into rings of rock which cut like vertical ribbons through the horizontal layers of sediment in a pattern reminiscent of a dike.  As the extinct volcano erodes away, the ring-shaped rocky remnants remain, leaving the circular mountain pattern of granite and granite-like rock.  There are several of these granite rings in New Hampshire along with granite mountains, giving the the state the nickname of "The Granite State."  The Pawtuckaway ring is the remnants of a Cretaceous period volcano.

Now that I know what to search for, it seems this is also the likely explanation for those granite rings near Seoul, which have been suggested to be a Jurassic period volcano remnant.  The volcanoes are long since gone, but the ring dike footprints remain.  Though their evidence did not support ring formation due to extraterrestrial impact, I think it is still premature to rule out the possibility of an extraterrestrial advance weapons demonstration:

I remember this building. Many years ago it used to be a nightmare for me, because for some reason my cities went red in pollution levels with no obvious reason. When I noticed that this was happening in cities with medium density development and not in low, I realized that I had a BAT with incorrect statistics. Eventually I found the culprit.

Long time lurker bur wanted to share this with you, I couldn't stop laughing imagining this happening in real life! Maybe NAM 50? Heavy Rail on road!

This has happened in many places, frequently dense industrial neighbourhoods in old cities. I seem to remember that, before the New York High Line was built, those cargo trains ran on the streets alongside the vehicular traffic (which, back then, was only marginally cars and mostly animal traction).
