Fictional Landmarks, I don't like the idea of using real world landmarks on fictional cities.

Increased number of ploppable modules.

ok heres a thought... I've seen a million request's for a one way street I'm assuming there's no fix For..Why cant the Dev. work more with the modding community "More so lately". Cant the ONE WAY STREET FROM THE INTERCHANGE.Be WORKED... I Know It's In there cause its the main problem at the intrance to most city's ...Ironic isnt it

So can anyone please make a MOD that makes the recycling centre recycles faster? I've ploped maximum 4 modules but still can't keep up the rate trucks bringing in recyclable and I don't have space for another recycling centre.

I know that there is already some "Guide" mod to optimise street/building placing.

However, i prefer to use "real" object like the park, as we all already use them as dummy. However, they cost money to build and buldoze

 

Perhaps it could be possible to "extract" these particular park from files and transform them in dummy with no cost at all, and naturally no effect. Or totally create them, i don't know!

I will try on my side, but i'm far far away the capacity of actual modder ;)

 

A other small idea, when we select the zoning tools there is that small line in plain colour which is placed depending the density road.

Unfortunately this line disappear when the zone is putted where as it could be a simple and useful helps for create our city.

Best, in my opinion, is that this "line" appear with using road street, but there is already the guide. And perhaps this behaviour is not moddable.

This may be too simplistic but Ive had enough Of the Repeated speech bubbles even after I've politely said no..I Enjoy using The speech bubs. cause they pay And guide us Noobes... Can someone maybe make it stop after you've declined for that city.I thimk once for each mission in each city is enough... I think this would help a great deal

Bigger/larger borders. The default city sizes are too small. For coastal areas its easy fill the map in less than an hour. Sometimes the border is so close to the shore that you cant even utilize the whole coastline

 

I'm not sure if this is possible... knowing nothing about modding it seems easy, but wtf do i know? lol

How would an building be a landmark if it wasn't already in existence? I take your point and agree it would be cool to have a few 'future landmarks' that would work well in CoT cities but then again half the buildings could fit that bill.

 

As a Brit I would like a mod that could change the side of the road people drive on.

 

I also find the 'Boats' section of mass transit options very limited, Anything that would provide mayors with more flexibility when designing waterborn mass transit would be appreciated.

I really am liking some of the mods coming out now. They're getting more and more sophisticated. Eventually we will have things like bigger cities and better traffic

 

 

I can't wait till we get things like (things I really want) car accidents and police chases!


Here is my city Rodenburgh, a realistic and fully detailed European city and region. Come over if you're interested!

There are alredly police chases. I had a business robbed in my city, and the robbers drove away in a getaway car. Since there was a police station nearby, the police went after them and caught them. 

 

To get it to happen you need a police station in your city and a high crime (no police station) city somewhere else in the region. Eventually someone from the high crime city will come rob a place in the low crime city. I have no crime in my regions now or else i would show a picture.

What about a bigger School? i think the normal one doesnt fit into a huge city and 950 is a bit to low too. i would love to see a bigger school skin in the game, what you think about that?

Another great idea, possibility to emergency vehicles DO NOT STOP on street signal light or street stops. And Traffic respond to those vehicles changing road lane so the emergency vehicle having free way.

 

 

Another thing, decrease a lot the running cost of all parks.

Well, what I meant is that the police cars chase after the criminal cars. I just notice police cars going to the crime scene. And if you do mean that, I haven't seen any police chases in my cities. I did have a city with high crime and one with low crime and I didn't really see any police chases.

I am quite sure the parks suggestions is possible (offline) while your first idea is impossible.

I just wish the police fire engines and ambulances hovered like the omega drones. Once they are futurised they look like they should anyway.

If we can't get bigger city sizes, maybe there is a way to shrink down every single building in the game to like 1/5th the size, and add an extra zoom level? I realize this would be a heroic undertaking, but thinking maybe long term.

 

I can't play this game with a solar farm taking up like 1/8th the size of the city.  So unrealistic.  Or having a city with skyscrapers, but only like 1500 households and one short stretch of highway?  Christ.  I just can't get over it. :)

Can someone make a Mod so that the camera can zoom in to ground level? I always want to know what my city looks like from a sims point of view, but the camera is like 40 or more feet in the air.

Maybe one day (not now), people can add a farm great work.

 

Like the farm can increase freight for commercial and less sicknesses...

 

I don't know what I'm saying, I doubt that we will get that far into modding :P

I would like to mod but I own a mac so...........I know that request is kinda weird but I don't zone mid-wealth residential so I would like to ask if it is possible to set all mid-wealth jobs to 0 at all buildings (ploppables,C,I) :)

I am pretty sure you need workers for it, like how having educated and higher wealth workers are more profitable.

No workers, however, would bring like no profit and will have 0 efficiency..

Also, pretty unrealistic and stupid when no workers are commuting
