Bacon and frizee lettuce on sesame rye.  Glass of milk.  This lettuce is hydroponic, packed with its roots and some soil in a two part container still growing.  Comes from a grower in the next town south (Exeter).  Stays nice and fresh in the refrigerator.

Breakfast: Hot cross bun and milk.  Switching to the buns has lowered my fasting glucose level by a couple of points.  It is the only real change in my general diet.  Even bran muffins are loaded with sugars.

Quaker Harvest Crunch with milk and a little sugar.  Tonight we are having a pot-luck dinner (tenants association), so I am eating lightly in anticipation of a rather good dinner.  Everyone contributes to these things.  My contribution is four bottles of a nice Riesling.
