Feldschloschen lager.

Brewed in Dresden. Currently three quid for a four pack of 500 ml cans.

 

Beginning to consider what I will drink at Halloween... Probably Jack n Coke or something stupid and cheap but marginally more expensive than my daily can ration...

    Buttered cinnamon bread and milk.

    EDIT:  Dinner time:  Spaghetti with from scratch tomato sauce with meatballs.  I was looking at the tomatoes that ripened on my window ledge this week thinking it was time to eat them.  There were too many to eat as sandwiches or salad so I made sauce out of them using my father's jawbone recipe, except I am not going to puree the diced tomatoes and I cheated and uses a veggie cube as base.  Waiting now for the timer to say the pasta is done.  Drinking a rather pretentious German Riesling that I got for the last pot luck dinner here.  The timer just went, so to the table ....

    Well I have gone a whole day without a beer. Very hard to sleep but worth it given how costly it is.

    At present tea (awful and unmilked as I do not have a fridge) and old bread.
