Division XXXI of the Bureau of Feline Affairs Military Command will send some military engineers and technical specialists as part of the BFA delegation due to arrive next week. Our military researchers are hoping to refine our weapons to continue repelling enemy troops from occupied territory.

Lyhoko: Unscheduled update!

Lyhoko: This isn't a full update, so no poll counting here.


The Schulmanian delegation has arrived at Gaalaenþur Island by way of Nyan Airlines. Gaalaenþur Island is roughly between Fiji and New Zealand... weren't they just in this area recently? Though Galesfeburg isn't anywhere near there... so why are they here? Simple. Nyan Airlines doesn't have space flight capability, so they have to transfer here, as this is the only Myonian territory on Earth.


The Myonian plane they transfer to isn't quite as colorful, but it does have spaceflight capability. It's also powered by twin fusion reactors.


It's reached its normal cruising altitude of 30,000 keejin (formerly known as kesan, = roughly 60,000 feet or 18,000 meters) and speed of around mach 2.5. This isn't going to get it to the planet Maiyan, though... If you look closely out the windows you may just sea the curvature of the Earth... and if you're sitting in the front half of the plane and look up, you'll see that the sky is a dark blue. It's going to get even darker all around though, as it's time to activate the neutrino engines to make it into space.


Now you can easily see the curvature of the Earth! And we're already almost back to the other side of the Pacific Ocean. This plane doesn't have a wapbervklex drive though, so at this speed it would take millennia to get to Maiyan... plus we're not going the right direction. Instead, we're heading to a naturally existing wormhole that will take us there.


Don't worry, the inside of the wormhole's supposed to be that color.


Preparing to come in for landing... from a quarter of the way around the planet. At least it's the correct planet, now. Coming up soon is an easily visible fireworks show as the plane enters the atmosphere. It's perfectly safe though, the reentry shields will keep the heat away from the hull.


We're almost there, just got to fly over some forest before arriving at Galesfeburg.


And we've landed! Total flight time was around 5 and a half hours... not bad for a flight between two planets. It's actually better than what a ship with a wapbervklex drive can currently do. Too bad the Maiyan-Earth wormhole is the only one we know about so far.


And after a quick ferry trip, everyone has safely arrived at the BFA facilities. As to how they like the flight, well you'll have to ask them.

Lyhoko: Results are 9 votes for expanding to the north, 4 votes for expanding east, and 1 cote for expanding to the south.



The northern island of Galesfeburg has expanded a bit, but not too much... but then again, due to it's small size, the expansion looks more significant.


Meanwhile, north of Bredli, development continues with more farms.


As well as a new town, Nyunburg.
 

This town doesn't seem to follow a standard grid pattern.


It's not that big, but it is big enough to not be an unburg, and is the northernmost town in the region so far.


And if you follow An 21 off to the east, it soon curves to the north and heads toward the large lake in the northern mountains... though it doesn't get quite that far.


Meanwhile, Dziket Egulaur, (Cat's Friend), along with Fancy Feast, have set up this new cat food production and distribution center on the north end of Galesfeburg as one of the results from the recent meeting between Myon and Schulmania. Now, what will they think of Myonian cat food in Schulmania?


And of course, the map.
