WoW! Lippo is look very nice, much detail, I can spend a long time looking at the that building. SHKC, very well I will make no changes then, just waiting for a gif of the Sun Hung Kai Center chinese characters and then its done!

I am not sure how Paulvmontfort did it, but I used the maps rollout in the matieral editor, selected reflection box, set it at 15 and the set the reflection mapping to raytrace element. Hope that makes sense! HAWHAHWHAHWHAHHWWHA....

I fooled around with photoshop and came up with a new LOGO, tell me what you think.

@ bixel: just in case you finish the SHKC, would you wait with uploading it? Since I pionered the technique of reflection, I want to be the first who uploads a reflective building, I'm just waiting for T Wrecks to finish the readme of Janne Toren.

That logo looks good! But you've used the Chinese fonts in Chinese Simplified. Hong Kong uses traditional chinese. I'll see and make another logo after exam if I have spare time as I'm interested in using photoimpact...

Concerning on the lot size of SHKC, I'd prefer the real size as it be in Hong Kong.

BTW I got 2 more Estates practically done, the Hing Tung Estate and the Lei Muk Shue Estate. I will prolly do 1 more, but its iffy, that will complete my Estate Series! Then its off to some Old Slab, Tri-Blocks, and H Blocks, so start getting your photos ready!

Bixel: They are actually two sets of residential towers. The one to the left is called the Queen's Garden, and the two Pink ones to the right is called the Dynasty Court. (which, in fact, consists of five towers, but the other three lie hidden behind the Queen's Garden)

Here it is.  The sign isn't on it, but I think there's a maxis prop that looks like the one attached to this building.  Does anyone know which one I'm talking about so I can find it?

@fantail the sky city 1000 is is a japanese proposed supertower that would house and employ 80,000 people. it is 400m across at the base and 1000m tall, the x seed is an even bigger idea being 4km tall and looking pretty similar to mount fuji in stature. i think the x seed is unworkable but the sky city is quite a simple shape and is possible. good advertising as it would be the biggest lot ever made.

now how can you deny those nightlights, it would cover just under a quater of a small city tile as a lot and would have to have like transit enabled freeways out the side but it would be an amazing project and the biggest thing on the stex ever... go on you know you want it

however i think the tower itself is quite easily Batable because of its relatively simple design, as are these residential towers. i thought as these and the previous posts structure are supposedly destined for tokyo here was the place to post...

to summarise, the sky city 1000 would be CO$$ with 120,000 jobs in my opinion, the holonic tower commercial 35,000 CO$$$ and the tall residential 9,600 R$$ and the short 6,000 R$$ what do you guys think, footnote: i cannot BAT to save my life bless it i have tried even simple things and i just can't seem to get on well with it. otherwise i'd give these babies my best shot, instead all i can offer is as much info and support as i can dig up.

Srry buddy. No way am i going to do that stuff. Maybe skyscraper and Thorsten might, after all they are doing the Burj Dubai. Anyhoo, update on the Dynasty Court, this will be a 4x7 Lot. The realistic layout would be more like 4x9 Lot but I simply do not want to take the time to make a huge 4x9 foundation, as it is its pretty big already.

Another thing, if this thing is way too pinkish ( I loathe pink) I might change the color scheme just a tad and re-name it something else.
