Vladimir! Good to see you're still around. :) From what you write, it sounds a bit like the kind of RL interruption that kinda sucks, not the pleasant kind. I hope you're getting through it all in one piece, and that we'll be able to welcome you back among us soon. Don't let 'em get you down! :ninja:

Hooray,Vlasky is back in Action!

Your current Project is looking good and it seems that it is almost finished. At least the textures and the details are al where they need to be.Is it just my bad eyes or did you use the "there are actually rooms behind the Windowpanes and not just a Texture" Technique?

Take your Time you need to finish this.Man i`m so exited for all the great stuff that`s coming with this theme....

I can only agree and nod approvingly while I'm drooling over these preview renders.

Wow, very beautiful building indeed. I especially liked the roof. I would like to do something so real in the 32 Old Slip, but can not find appropriate textures :(

"Is it not cruel to let our city die by degrees, stripped of all her proud monuments, until there will be nothing left of all her history and beauty to inspire our children? If they are not inspired by the past of our city, where will they find the strength to fight for her future? Americans care about their past, but for short term gain they ignore it and tear down everything that matters. Maybe… this is the time to take a stand, to reverse the tide, so that we won't all end up in a uniform world of steel and glass boxes." - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Hello Vlasky!

It's been a long time since you said you were going to finish the Empire State Building, the Squibb Building, 261 Madison Avenue, 41 Madison Avenue and 1185 6th Avenue!

I hope everything goes well! we need you back here!
You're great!

cmdp123789: Thanks! Btw, I'll try to get something for your birthday *;)

JP Schreifer: Thanks!

Hotwheeler: Thank you! Well the glass is transparent and there is some sort of texturing on the floors, but the plan is to have some "furniture" set up. I think that's the best way since the glass on the RL building is transparent for the most part. But it is also more relfective than what I have achieved there, so I'll be fixing it.

Like I said in the NYBT International Month Thread:

Here is zoom5 of the roof and the plaza behind the building (plaza is lacking little pines that you can see in the render above):

As for this building, the whole ground floor needs remodeling and adding details, there is also an annex behind with gallery/theater and a "bridge" connecting the tower and the annex that I need to model. The Plan is to have the tower with Plaza available for growable/ploppable purposes and the version with annex for the recreationists. I'd like to have a diagonal version as well.

Hey bud, I wish not to annoy you in any way, i'm just curious for the destiny of the Empire State Building, the Squibb Building, 261 Madison Avenue, 41 Madison Avenue and 1185 6th Avenue. The teasers were wonderful!

Idk what to put here, I guess I'll find out sooner or later.
