Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

I absolute love the relot of the houses! Are they replacements for the originals, or new lots that can be grown alongside the originals?

Is this a look into your development process? Are the houses grown or plopped? Is sharing of your amazing re-lots possible?

Will you ever get around to replies?

And just who is John Galt?

    ...

Sorry about that last one. Lovely set of small updates. Just enough to be interesting; not too much to be taxing on you. Your suburbs always feel so uncluttered by typical Maxis/SC4 junk.

Your re-lots are so amazing.  I wish I could do that, but I bet it takes quite a bit of time.  The payoff is amazing though.  Your attention to detail is what I wish my city had.  Imagine that.  The scope of my city with your detail!!!  It would be crazy.

Haha, I'd love to have all just great re-lots.  It is something I would like to do but as you said it is time consuming.  Right now, I am having a crisis of playing-style in my cities.  As you know the NAM is introducing incredibly beautiful RHW, RRW, Fractionals, etc.  I want to use that stuff, but it is really hard to introduce into my old cities, and I'm so used to building roads and railroads with step patterns to mimic different angles.  This causes endless texture problems and problems and problems and problems that frustrate me (maybe this is why I quit playing a year or so ago).  Maybe, I need to back off from it, remove Symphony so the Maxis highways still look okay with all the stepping and move forward in newer areas using the more advanced tools.  Right?

    Keep inspiring me!

Quite a nice CJ you have here, I've enjoyed looking at the updates as you keep rolling them on out.

One question though, those houses (at various rotations, it would appear!) that help the pictures stand out even more are supposedly by mattb325, yes? As far as I know I've downloaded all of his stuff over time and I still don't have those. Have they been taken down due to being >10 years old? And if they've been taken off the STEX, anyone got a working link?

^ As far as I know, nothing over 10 years old has actually been taken down.  It'll still appear in searches (as long as you're specific enough with your search string), it just won't appear in the "View other files from this member" link.

In particular, you'll find Mattb325's content tends to be on the LEX.  There, you can do a power search by username and it'll all come up.

**Just a heads up, I'm approaching my bandwidth limit for Photobucket, so if my images stop working, just let me know and I'll fix it**

This is just a teaser of the industrial section I'm expanding. Downtown and suburbs are coming up soon.
