Today?  I saw Kakuryu defeat Hakuho to force a tiebreaker round in the New Year Sumo Tournament today.  In 33 matches, that's only the third time Kakuryu's been able to defeat the champion.  Hakuho, of course, won the tiebreaker.  He's Hakuho, and what does Hakuho do?  He wins.
