Looks good, a set of these is a nice idea. One thing, I would say that Canopy thing is a bit high. Are you gonna keep the modeled ground or is there now just for reference? Another thing makes me wonder, who's advertising Coca Cola, the dental clinic or the liqour store, could be generating business for both parts.

I haven't forgotten my other BAT's here is some progress on the VIPS restaurant, I still have to work on the lot specially the parking area and the gardens but I think he main building is finished or almost finished. Thoughts welcome!

Nothing fancy here just the usual find a base texture, sometimes add a bit of noise, change the tone, saturation, brightness, contrast use the dodge and burn tools. Sometimes I combine two base textures to add stains or worn marks.

What a sweet combination! Harishna on the building and Girafe on the flora - that's at least as good as some BSP projects where one BAT master like nofunk does the modeling and another one like JasonCW does the textures... or vice versa.

One word of caution, though: As mouth-wateringly beautiful as those trees in full bloom are, they display a particular season - and since they are part of the BAT, they won't change with the seasons (unless you'd turn the entire BAT into a seasonal thing, which is probably way over the top). Now the game normally displays summer all the time, so I'd stick to green trees. Some inconsistencies for seasonal players are unavoidable, of course, but IMHO evergreen trees stand out less than trees that are permanently in full bloom.

Thanks Twrecks you are very right about the the trees, I don't know how difficult it is to make the a building seasonal, I guess it is possible, but since I am not making the trees I don't want to put more work into Girafe, he has been kind enough to help me making the trees...so it will depend on him, maybe there can be two versions one with evergreen only...

I believe the seasonal building would involve exporting it multiple times. While that's certainly doable, I imagine one export will be a pretty generous file size and 3-4 of them would definitely exceed the STEX upload limit...unless you got special permission. It's really your and Girafe's call though.

The two shops look very good...I imagine they'd look perfect next to other W2W buildings.

I agree with T-wrecks, it's for this reason I put a picture here. In fact for me it's a question of colors more than season. The pink of flowers is good itself but will not fit with environment.

I think we should go to:

or - I switch the pink to a green and we have a kind of jacaranda in summer even if the leaves are not true, but nobody can spot this.

either - I replace the jacaranda by another species (same than the rest of the trees or another one with a split of green color for more variety).

It's up to Harishna.

Just for info the scene is already 5,3M polys ( 4 hours for a render) and it's clearly due to Jacarandas.

Moreover I need time to do modifications, don't know if Harishna wants to upload this project fastly.

I am not in a rush to upload it, so I guess the more sensitive thing to is to change the trees as you say to something slightly more generic (and less heavy in terms of polygon count) so whatever you find easier is find with me (change the leaves of the Jacarandas or change them for trees with another tone of green)... Nevertheless I would still love to see you release the Jacarandas as separate props, talking about colors I think the flowers need to be a bit more purple and less pinkish...
