What @Lucario Boricua is mentioning is that there are now transition pieces to get your elevated RHW to ground level (or vice vera) on the diagonal so you don't have to curve it and then place the transition.

Oh, yeah I have played around with those!  I thought he was talking about something similar to what my NB to WB ramp was using (which was absolutely awesome to find...without that curved ramp from L0 to L1 this wouldn't have been as compact as it is now!).  Would be nice to have that style for other levels as well (L1 to L2, L2 to L3, etc), and even the same with a diagonal...but am happy with what we have now.  I love the NAM additions to the game, makes highway building more fun!  Thanks for the kind words @Lucario Boricua and @Haljackey!

Another interchange completed.  This is inspired by the I-74 / I-465 interchange in the southeast corner of Indianapolis.  The EB/WB for this interchange is the loop around my future city.  The SB lane is another interstate leaving the region.  The NB lane transitions into a road/avenue that goes into the city center

You can use a tree controller to place trees in God Mode with custom trees

    Thanks! I have a ton of tree mods installed and then I use the god mode tool to spam them. You can do that in mayor mode too with this mod

    First one is a half diverging diamond interchange! While it's somewhat overkill due to the seemingly redundant left turns to/from the unfinished side, they make for extra comfy U-turns for the freeway!

    I'm using the Grass Lands Terrain Mod, it gives cities a relatively uniform bright yellow-green grass. I find it especially suited for humid tropical landscapes. Keep in mind that I also pair it with other terrain mods to get the full humid tropical appearance. Sometime soon I'll publish a guide on how to mix and match terrain mods to achieve certain ambiances.

    Interchange retrofit. Realigned the EB to NB flyover, using the new diagonal height transition. I also added an additional through lane below on the N/S route and cleaned up some curves and other things too.

    I love retrofitting. It's a challenge but I like it!

    Oh and if you're wondering why there's no SB to EB flyover in the junction above, that's because there's another major interchange to the north that provides that connection

    Nothing's ever done. I'm still tinkering with this interchange even before I've pressed the play button in this town.

    Spot the differences. if not I can specify them:

    -Off ramp on-slope transition installed

    -On ramp now has a a small merge area before merging onto the highway

    -Expanded turn lanes

    -Additional signage 'n stuff.

     

    Always something to tinker with.

    have you tried using roundabouts?

    I think thats a nice place to have some,but might have to modify a little bit the interchange
