:golly:     Cookin' something delicious for the next few weeks!

This is everything you'll need to place and connect to form your cloverleaf interchange. This example uses RHW-4 for the basic lane configuration, and RHW-6S for the areas with weavin and merging lanes.

An important note, when building the height transitions between the ramp interfaces, make sure to first place the height transition, then the inner ramps closest to the center of the interchange.

Once everything is in place, make sure to connect the various components, and to overdrag on the 45° bends to get the smoothed curves. Click any network cells which fail to override. It may also be necessary to place some starters beyond the outer width transitions in case you're using a lane drop.

Finished result!     :bunny:

I attempted to make the smallest possible cloverleaf. First pic is Lucario's version as reference. The screenshots are aligned
I wonder if this is already the limit or if it can be made even smaller (while still being functional ofc) (Maxis prefab doesn't count)

Also, here is my attempt at the smallest possible trumpet:
image.png?ex=6588adbb&is=657638bb&hm=051image.png?ex=6588adbb&is=657638bb&hm=7ae
It looks very ugly, also I used on-slope height transitions on even terrain, but function > form

In your top pic, I don't know of any interchanges in real life that look like that. If i'd be having a vertigo episode and a dizzy spell, I'm sure the sims would too. Then again, I give you 4.5/5 stars for creativity.

Hey man, how connect this piece?

    Captura de tela 2024-01-28 165923.jpg

You can use the FLEX Onslope piece. Then use the avenue tool to drag from the high side. Then drag from the low side to connect to the intersection.

Ah, my fault... I didn't take it to the last step...

You can use the FLEX Turn Lane piece to convert the turn lanes on the avenue.

    2024-01-28 (2).jpg

Hmmm... Just noticed the little discrepancy in the turn lane arrows. Not sure why...

Later: Looks like the arrow issues only affects L2. L1 appears fine.

    Here's a new 4-way interchange from me.

More spaghetti than I am typically used to, challenged myself with the nearby rail lines to build something unique. What resulted is more elevated sections, but still tried to keep that down as much as possible.

You could have designed the roadways in New Jersey.

Cool ideas! Love the way you use one-way roads to make tight turns.

While I'm tying a post, here's a new random interchange from me. Started with extending a BTM line, then it somehow turned into this lol

I did not expect to build a interchange here but it just sorta happened. If you build it, they will come.

lol I rebuilt this again(!) as a nearby tunnel replacment project meant I could widen the E-W highway through this interchange from 4-6 through lanes.

This interchange takes the cake for my most reworked junction.

Should still be there in NAM 48. Be sure you select the Maxis Highway Override (MHO) when installing. And then check for the Prefab Interchanges down a bit in the Highway menu.

Rebuilding/completing a massive interchange first built in 2018. New connections to support a northern extension (diagonal MHW being replaced)

...And if you look closely you can see some original RHW (2006) in the top right zoom outs. Yes this city is that old.

Hi everyone, here's one I've been working on today. Would normally be a simple directional T or trumpet but the proximity of the rail lines was a fun challenge to work around. Quite happy with the curves, although the lengthy sliproad in the upper left isn't ideal. But it was the best I could think of without excessive height transitions and screwing up the rest of the layout. This will be the western end of a dense urban area with the route heading off to the left forming a 'spine' road straight through it (images are oriented looking south). I'm looking forward to adding some fun exits off the spine! :8)

Really elaborate interchange! A bit off topic, is those infrastructure really functional or a bit leaning to just a beautiful eye candy?

For @CaptCity, what's "Image added to display?" It's a bit ambiguous for those who aren't peeping into the details.

    Thanks.
