For anyone familiar with the L.A. area, this is the 405 & 101 Interchange in the San Fernando Valley. These are two of Southern California's busiest freeways.

I've got a simple, but nice diamond on/offramp intersection located just south of downtown Lorient, a mid size city in Serkis county, Tahoma. I'll show it soon.

    DA DAAAAA!!

The diamond, and a portion of Lorient just to accent it.

Not much, but I'm not very skilled with the RHW either. I like making diamond intersections and thought this turned out well, so I thought I'd show it to ya!  :)

Well done, Meta. You probably could have tightened up the loop with a different Y split, but overall it's really well done.

Here's Kijng Carol Town junction. It's not as good looking as Haljackey's but it does the job as i planned. It's based on a junction south from my city. The ideea is that the vehicles that don't whant to enter the city will avoid the roundabout by taking the ramps. And the game exceeded my expectations :D The vehicles are using this junction just like I wanted :D

It's always nice when you build something and the a game uses it exactly how you planned, I agree with that.

I took an old desgin of mine (it's in the RHW guide in Sc4devotion) and made it higher capacity and smoother.

WOW, Markus, your interchange looks really good!!

after looking in this topic for a while, I thought I could show something I made, this is the place where intercity highway 1 branches of interstate 101 in a yet to be build up ghetto/port area. the one thing i ain't that pleased about is the overpass

    any suggestions?

I don't think it looks too bad, but I can see what you mean. My tip is to make it like a tunnel, using ground raiser/ hole diggers. It would make the interchange a bit bigger, but I think it would be worth it. After all, most real life intersections are big, right?

Use FAR pieces instead of the default curves.

Good alternative, although I'd rather have the RHW-10 to dual RHW-6S splitter just used for the exit. In the entrance setup, the leftmost entering lane simply merges with the rightmost through lane which is kind of dangerous. Transitioning the entering lanes to a RHW-4 will give you two dedicated entrance lanes, similar to what you have now, timmetje.

Just my 2¢. Great work! :)

Thanks for the help guys, I'll try to make it somewhat like this, but first I have to see how much space I have left when I finish the railyards

Just checked out my options, and it won't fit, so I'll just keep it like this I think

Looks like you can still put in that 3 lane exit if you want. Also for the other side you could move it a bit more inward:

You could also use the C3 exit located at the end of the FAR interchanges tab cycle.

    Cant wait to see!

Here's a behemoth I undertook earlier, took only about an hour and a half to build.

To say the least, I'm pleased.

It's been a while since I've last posted in this thread. A new interchange I created, tried to recreate the I-90/I-294/I-190 Interchange near O'Hare Airport, what do you all think?
