My first picture here!

A pic of my interchange city - though much to my disappointment, still not enough space LOL! Its a small city tile which will serve as a hub across different cities. Well its an experimental region using the Seattle region from sc4ever(the one with the money cheat and all). Its my first real foray into using RHW and CAM, bound to be an interesting ride I think.

This design is not really the best - in particular the X-axis freeway has a helix type to it. The Y-axis' on/off access ramps perform like a cloverleaf's. There are 3 ramps on the Y-axis(1 off, 2 on).

The avenue access ramps are there for, well, not sure what to put in this city yet. I'm partially for dirty industrial. Like in most cities, the main interchange area usually dies with rows and rows of warehouses.

Woah...aaaling, that's an intense interchange.  I don't think you have quite enough light poles, though. 3.gif  Nobody seems to use the RHW aesthetic peices though (with the arrows and all).  Nice to see them appreciated.

Your photoshop skills are legendary, Blue Lightning.  I bet the interchange is fantastic too, but I can't really see it all that well.

Thank you very much! I really like to use the cosmetic puzzle pcies (espeally the arrow markings).

I will add more mast lighting. I love to use the tall version because it will illuminate a lot better.

@TomMCityfan2- thanks! 4.gif

Now for my second interchange here... A whirlpool! Took me about 3 hours to get just right with symmetry between the X and Y roads! During the making of this, I've come to realize I need more puzzle pieces than what's currently available! ....and being a first timer on RHW, I can't believe I said that - I always thought the RHW had a lot of unnecessary pieces. I'll be making some requests NAM team, but first and foremost, THANK YOU for making the NAM and also the RHW(and the RHW team).

This one connects the region's main east-west highway with its north-south counterpart (please don't mind the houses under construction).

Josh6: That looks pretty nice, but one thing to note is that after the cars descent that spiral they have to climb back up again to get to the tolls. You could try levelling the ground off to make it more realistic.

A light sleet coming down in Rotherford Harbour - all signs are photoshopped in, as are the hatch marks (and obviously the precipitation)

Thalia is experiencing near-blizzard conditions on one of its principal highways, H7 - same photoshopped items as above

Here are some of my attempts on quite hilly terrain. Still just getting used to the NAM, RHW, and the holedigging mods. I haven't done any full cross-junctions, just 3 way, and 2-ways.

Sorry for the early morning commute shot, so it's a bit dark. RHW-4 Y/Trumpet interchange.

This one is relatively simple as a concept, but was very tricky in execution. This is a coastal city for workers for a full industrial area next door, fed by a RHW-8, which splits into two RHW-4, one of which leads east and north close along the coast and ends in an avenue roundabout; the other goes straight north, then curves a bit west and up north to the neighboring city (as well as gives access to the city from the other end with a simple Ave overpass junction.

View from the south

I like it because even though some of it is steep, it would just be a lovely way to come home after a day's hard work, wouldn't it? You come from your grimy industrial or manufacturing job, and come over the 4-lane highway over the hills down towards the coast and the fresh air. The views alone would be awesome (many workers go by bus, so can look). It's even OK safety-wise, because it's against the sun when you leave and come back, so no blindness as you come over the crest.... ;-)

It was accidental, because of the angles, but I actually like the extra bit of one-way road as you come down going north towards the other end of town, before the tunnel, because you should really slow down there.... 9.gif

Very pretty, blue lightning 4.gif

jay_santacruz, you may want to try smoncrie's Hole Digging Lots. It lets you dig holes, just deep enough to make tunnels (and it looks better than using the terraforming tools)
