Almighty Nienaber: Thank you very much! I take my composition of buildings very seriously, especially in a situation like this where one building that is out of place can ruin the whole picture! I don't plan on stopping this anytime soon! And I think the shipwrecks are badd-ass too!

    Ntq$310: Thank you!

Callbat: If this is causing a void in vocabulary, then I have finished my work here! Wonderful to have your patronage!

feliwi: If you thought the port was gray, wait 'till you see this one! Thanks a lot!

Yoman3: I would have to say it was the currents coupled with operator error, however, somtimes the armed forces can not resist some target practice 11.gif Thanks for stopping by!

Godzillaman: Ghost movie? Well, I guess now is a good time to start a horror devision in the SBU department of propag... I mean public entertainment!

TV-VCR: A far cry from the second update of Stratton eh? I hope you can locate your jaw, I would't want you to be missing anything for future updates!

underwearman2007: It shall be done comrade!

haljacky: Well, what do you expect a port to have a lot of floating in the sea, a sofa, a train, the kitchen sink? Lol, Glad you liked it, and thanks for stopping in!

aleko: Thank you very much! Realism is somethingI have been trying to achieve more.

nihonkaranws: Gritty and depressing can be beautiful cant it? Anyway, The majority of those lots are from PEG's CDK3 set. You can find them on the STEX or at his site.

roboo1: I'll say, I didn't get this much of a responce in months of my first CJ! I'm glad you enjoyed this! I think that the shipwreck bit is one of the best things I have done reciently, I really like how it turned out. Thanks again!

CraigKingOfIreland: Wow, what an honor! Out of all those great CJs! Thanks a lot!

panthersimcity4: I'll take your lack of words (and puntuation) as a giant complement! Thanks so much!

Amerikaner: And to think that the mosaic was juat a last minuet thing I decided to do to show off those shipwrecks! What a complement coming from you and your exceptional work in that area, I'm a fan 44.gif  The arrangement of the port was something I had to work on, and rework over and over to get it to look "alive". Its so easy to turn them into sterile, boring things, I'm glad I got this one right!

JJC12321: First of all let me thank you, speetchlessness is either a verry good or a very bad sign (I'll take it as a complement this time 3.gif). And yes, the majority of the port buildings are from PEG, his CDK3 to be exact, just search on the STEX or on his site. To get my buildings to develop as such, I usually put my infastructure in place, followed by zoning which I prune with the buldozer and making things historical. Then, I go in and plop what need to be changed to give an area that look, or place things I couldn't get to grow (which can be a real pain when you have 4GB of plugins to choose from).  So to answere the quesion, all of them!

edmonton_stinks: Thanks man, I don't usually do darkened, but I think it worked perfectly.

Gosswin: 39.gif39.gifWelcome to ST 39.gif39.gif   Its exciteing to have someones first post in your CJ! Its a true pleasure, thank you for stopping by and glad you enjoyed it!

Geronimo: Mmmmm I didn't even think of that, WE NEED A 'STILL STAT!!! Glad it was real enough for you to smell!!!

    un1: Thanks.....Thanks......Thanks.....Thanks.....

    I'm really grateful (but x1000000000000000 3.gif)

Can't wait to show you more!

Benedict: Three? 43.gif I feel so special now! Thanks!

spore415: The trains are from HERE and the containeres can be found HERE. Thanks for stopping by!

A.Aperson: GLORY TO THE PROLATARIATE! Thanks for the inspireing words comrade!

patriots_1228: I am glad to do it sir! Thank you for your patronage!

rjkrox: Hopefully that will be a long time! I'm glad you like it!

jj88: Greatly appreciated, Glad you liked it, those pictures came out especially well.

Ducio: Quite fantastic? Well, isn't that nice of you! Thank you very much!

    Kalimgrad - Sans Forma

Think of a day long past. A day with color. A day with beauty. A day with joy. A day with hope...

    ...Nothing comes to mind
Only the sights. Only the sounds. Only the smells. Only the flavor...

    ...Of a world tuned gray
It seems no one can recall. No one can imagine. No one can remember...

...A time out side of The Tenements

This is honestly by the far one of the best Eastern Europe/Russian CJ's ever (Along with the PSSO and Sakhailya/Siberia). It truly look's communist, and pic #4 truly left me speechless.

Oh what a fantastic update SimHoTToDDy

I love how you did the pix wth that white faded border....makes the pics look very real as well.

The sunken railway is an awesome touch as well. I dread doing rail ways.

The resident buidings are perfect . Love that architecture.

Looking really nice as usual I really enjoyed the train shots you did, as they were put together nicely. The last two pictures however were by far my favorite, I LOVE how you placed together all the large tenements in such an interesting and uninviting (3.gif) way. I really like that music school as well, its such a wonderful BAT, and you have done a really nice job of placing it. I think I have a more interesting lot-edited version if your interested, pimped out with a DDR Flag and some column ruins and a matching base texture to your concrete sidewalk, but I digress. Anyway overall you have done a wonderful job with this past update, looking forward to more! 9.gif

Awesome work again! Your communist city is amazing.

But the exclamation mark at the end of "Kalimgrad!" kinda bothers me, makes it seem so happy and optimistic 3.gif

I love the port! The best port ever.

The tenements and whole pre-fab area is good also, but it looks a bit too dense for me, but it can be reasonal and realistic. Anyways, I like that one too.

And welcome to the IPON! 2.gif

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

The world shall fear our mighty Socialist economic prowess! The Revolution will come yet! The workers of all nations will rise up agaist thier masters and sing in unison "WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE BUT OUR CHAINS!". The Soviets shall rise from the ashes of their bitter past and again become the worlds true Global power, bringing the weak and feeble Capitalist system crashing down in its wake! We will raise the Hammer and the Sickle from Los Angles to London! From Brasilia to Bombay! The world will join hands and look towards the Communist future, "THE WORKERS OF THE WORLD ARE UNITED!" they will chant in many languages, "OH, PARTY OF LENIN, WE ARE FINALLY UNITED!"

    ...

I had to get that off my chest 3.gif

Neat. I like it, the nice feeling it gives off, well, sort of nice feeling.. The fog like effect gives it a little of a not so great place to be at a time, sort of feeling. >_<

Really awesome, Todd! I like the fog effect... how did you do it? It's something that I might keep on watching too! Reminds me of the Russian flats from the Soviet times... 3.gif
