Thy hill be mine, and naught be thine

Fer Lolz mah hil iz, bai dezine.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

You get sued by the "Automatic Spell Check Co." for not putting quotes around its name. They then give the hill to me. My hill

I invade your hill with young communists who revolt against you and set up a commune. Then, when they get old and conservative, I buy it off them. My hill.

I call the RSPCA about your overuse of tranquiliser darts in inappropriate situations. The RSPCA calls the police, and you are arrested. I get your hill as a reward. My hill.

Sorry, but your attorney is actually working for me. You won the case and Duke of York is in jail for a really long time, but only because I paid my lawyer to win the case. You will soon be getting a visit from a couple of police officers who will take you to jail pending trial for identity theft (since you aren't really Astronelson) and the murder of the real AstroNelson.

>the trial day arrives, you are convicted. Sentenced to imprisonment for 103 years, and we all know you aren't going to live that long.<

MY HILL.

You cut out so much, it made no sense. So, to simplify the situation, I am given the hill.

The US government tells me to build a railroad on the hill. They give me the land, which they don't own, and the resources, which they "will pay for later", and sent a few divisions of Cavalry to kill everyone on the hill. Even the people who were surrendering. I build my railroad and put a golden tie (the wood things under the rails) at the top. MY historically accurate hill. Also, I am named president of the Not Astronelson's Hill RR.

I begin my own railroad system near yours, but charge lower prices. A price war erupts where we both keep lowering our prices until you go bankrupt, because I used royal funds to keep myself in business. I purchase your railroad at a very low price, and reclaim my hill.

I descover that you've been enslaving young children and forcing them to work in you resort. I take you to court on these grounds, and win the case easily. As part of the settlement, I take the hill and resort, and also let all the kids go. My hill!

I take out a dictionary to show you that coup basically means to overthrow some kind of power. While your looking into the book, I slam it closed on your head, nocking you unconscious. I take the hill, because it's not like there was anything else to do at this point. 2.gif

Merci Beaucoup. You should really know that knocking is the correct spelling, not nocking. And in this case it's you're, not your. I claim the hill in the name of good spelling and grammar. My hill.
