Well, I am finished my big project so now I am back to my old tricks again here in Schulmania. Hopefully the next update will hit the bull's eye. In the mean time, if you have not read the Devonshire Digest yet, you will want to. It has important information for the future of Schulmania within its pages.

    East Atkinos: Food For Thought

One of the nice aspects of West Forest is the abundance of great places to eat and great places to learn. Some cultural amenities include both of these, including museums with top-notch cafes and concert venues with exquisite confectionery shops. Even the library features a reading room sponsored by Busscastle Chocolates. Of course, some of the fine entrepreneurs behind the culinary bounty also maintain fine homes, where they entertain in style. Let’s see what we can scrounge up in West Forest today.

    bus2.jpg
Arlene’s Bookstore sits on the corner. Patrons often slip next door to the Bluebird Café, which also hosts live music most evenings. Many famous musicians got their start singing at the Bluebird.

    bus2.jpg
Down Silver Maple Lane, invariably stop in on the quaint Museum of Catnip Folk Art, located in the small cozy brick building at the far right.

The museum features some of the most interesting crafts made from catnip leaves and flowers. There’s a great selection of small wreaths in the Governor Cawale Room and a fascinating variety of baskets and basketcases in the George Room. The Ossie Gallery features the nationally-known collection of fiber art done entirely in catnip. Buddy, you haven’t seen weaving until you have seen catnip weaving!

Let’s head over to the town’s main church. Today, they are having classes on the meaning of life, taught by theological scholars visiting from Babalonia.

    church5.jpg
There has been some debate about the meaning of life lately. Some say it is simply the number 42. Some are looking to the Rev. Monty Python to explain the meaning of life. All will be made clear today it Room 16. Come on by!

In the heart of town, people are scurrying about, taking care of business and not thinking very much about the meaning of life. They may be thinking about lunch, though.

    forestrow4.jpg
Interesting how so many pedestrians walk in formation, isn’t it?

    bus7.jpg
In formation, residents stroll down the street. Some are headed home for the day and others to get changed to go to a big concert.

    forestblvd2.jpg
An outdoor concert will be held on Forest Boulevard this evening. A troupe of performing birds will be tweeting and twittering for the crowds. Let’s hope they get some followers, lest they get eaten.

Several of the coolest kids in town are planning to go to the concert. Let’s see who in the “in” crowd is going to be there.

    hou2.jpg
Chris McCat is not just cool because he is on the honor roll and all of the sports teams; his house also has a giant outdoor pool.

    hou3.jpg
Henrietta Pussycat is a honors student as well as captain of the cheerleaders. She lives next door to her teacher, Mr. Rogers. This is his neighborhood.

    hou12.jpg
A lot of cool kids live here: Purr Capita and the Howard triplets- Meow, Larry and Furry.

Everyone will get some picnic items at the Nikonia Market and pick good seats for the show.

    nikoniamarket2.jpg
Everyone ready for the Rockin’ Robins?

Schulmanator: Why are the first 2 pictures the same? As for those people walking in formation, well what would you do if you can only walk the edges of the tile? Other than that, great update.

Fail, fail, and more fail. These negotiations are headed to fail.

My goodness..that is indeed a face that speaks loudly of disappointment.  BUT have negotiations started yet?  Was there a reply to the gauntlet thrown down?

I don't know if that is a face of disappointment, or plain anger, but it sure ain't a happy face.

Guess what? Before I post this, Schulmania has 11,111 replies in its two threads. How’s that for cool?!

TmiguelT Got Cat Scratch fever? Gotta unsheathe the claws and scratch it!

Leech10 Would a magnetic containment field work on them?

Sobol  It needs a gentler name. Perhaps “baconitis”?

Csgcseri Szia! Greg! Always glad to have you drop in! And I am also glad you enjoyed the latest from Schulmania.

Korot They are indeed. They are not headed north because I don’t want to terraform that much yet. So, the official story is that the prevailing winds make it too difficult. The day will come for northern exploration though.

Mightygoose Excellent! You can also get a feel for the pulse of Schulmania from the website. It is due for some new translations and new content shortly.

Jonpaulosiglos Spring cleaning… I need some more of that around here. Can someone report me to Style TV’s Clean House show?

Hester  Oooh! I will then mislead you and deny it is a MS Publisher template. It was all my graphic masterwork. All me, I says!

noypi07 Thanks! I hope you enjoyed the newest update as well.

Leech10 Dr. Seuss at the  WHO reports it was not the green eggs but the green ham which started it all…

Petrovar Ambassador Thanks! As for my PDFs, I do my work in MS Word. You can do a “save as” and change the format to PDF and there ya go. If you don’t have Word, you can go to online PDF makers and they can do it for you as well.

Gn_leugim Think that’s good news? You are also in the next update. So, you will be even happier!

edmonton_stinks You’re on! A Frying Dutchman would be awesome! And, as an incentive, you, too, will be featured in the next update.

Benedict Thanks! I appreciate your longtime support. You are one of the longest-running Schulmania followers.

Zelgadis Well, even though you missed the big century party, I do have a little something for you at the end of this reply set.

Jacqulina Thanks for coming by, Jacky. I wish I could post in the new section. All of those people over there are thinking I don’t love them anymore. BTW, I do… but I am sending it telepathically for now!

Sobol Dag nabbit! We will get that sig picture working one of these days. Anyone got a toolbox and a six pack? It may take a while…

TmiguelT Indeed! And thanks! I wanted to make sure by linking the way I did that people could see other work as well as the latest. It can be helpful to catch up on all things Schulmania.

    Hester  Jiminy Jillikers!

TmiguelT Uh oh… concert protests… could get ugly!

Korot  Only on the edges of tiles? Sort of like that thing where you can’t walk on the cracks of the sidewalks…

Sobol  Perhaps a whiff of my new chloroform cologne will put your negotiators in better spirits… breathe deeply…

Hester   Gauntlet? Alls I saw was a coverlet.

Korot  Could be all the gray skies… we have had a big ol’ bunch of rain this afternoon. Good for the grass… which then needs to be cut… it’s a vicious cycle…

gabry85 AHA! I spy a long lost Schulminion! Glad to see you back, Mayor Gabry!

Sobol  I plan on indulging in ice cream tonight, not catnip. Rocky Road, here I come!

Jmontsimcity Thanks! And, welcome to Schulmania! Even 11,111 posts in, new visitors are always welcome and appreciated. Please do come back.

Leech10 Hmmm… reminds me I need to put more work into the webpage for the Schulmania Education Commission…

    A special goodie for Zelgadis:

This was taken in my backyard. Initially, I was going to name him Buggs, Jr. But, since he is brown, that would not work. So, he has been officially named Zelgadis, Jr. after our own bunny man.

    wabbit.jpg

“ZJ” has been sighted in the front yard a few times and more in the backyard and its adjoining woods. This picture was taken on Saturday. We came home from watching a sneak preview of the new Star Trek movie and there he was, out there by the fence munching away at the weeds right along the fence. He then headed back toward the trees and posed for a few pictures before heading back into the woods. He hangs out under the deck in the back sometimes as well.

    BUNNY!

I was worried it was going to be a cat. Then I'd have to sneeze a lot and never come in here again. 3.gif

I didn't really miss the 100 page thingy. I was here, even if I absentmindely didn't post due to the fact that I worked out my post in my head and didn't bother to type it out. Let's say I was here in spirit. 4.gif
