Sobol Please tell me that no one is actually selling that!

    TmiguelT LOL!

Archean It has been raining a lot the last few days, so I have not had a chance to see how he is doing lately. I am sure he will be munching on the grass again soon.

FreewayofFlight Thanks! And, welcome to Schulmania. Please do come back and visit again soon.

Leech10 You did! You are #11111.

Gn_leugim New and exciting stuff is coming soon.

Zelgadis Here in spirit it is then. And now you have ZJ to be your Schulmania stand in as well.

    NMUSpidey Agreed!

    Mightygoose A wacsawwy one!

Hester …lest your shotgun’s barrels be tied into a bow…

Jacqulina Thanks. I will be out there looking for him today and maybe get some new pix.

gabry85 That would be a huge seller in Schulmania!

Mayorbk Thanks. And, welcome to Schulmania. I am glad you came and hope you will return again.

Leech10 A fighter? Must be an Anaheim mighty duck.

Zelgadis I got a golden collection DVD set off of eBay about 2 weeks ago and have been enjoying the Looney Tunes immensely.

kj3400  Unless of course it is rabbit season…

Twenty20 We could get to within about 15-20 feet of him if we were quiet and moved slowly. He blends in so well with the woods that when he is around the trees you can almost not see him at all.

TmiguelT It’s like the swine flu… the PFB sounds like a pandemic but it can be cured pretty quickly.

Dfnva Thanks, Dan. I have enjoyed West Forest and am glad you have as well.

Danielcote Thanks… I like it too.

Important news from Schulmania has just been released. A statement from Admiral Hestorb explains the situation. You may view it here on the Schulmania Media Page. Look at the yellow box on the right side for Press Releases.

TmiguelT: Try clicking the word Hestorbia and see if that works. I just tried it myself and it worked for me. The graphic won't link you. Let me know if that help.

Hester: The link to the press release is working fine for me. Look for the box that reads:

and the second one is the one to click.

I got there thru the link you provided just now  Must be my browser.

However, you & the Admiral provided excellent up to date information that every ownder of a cat and especially an older cat should know and be aware of.  The tragedy for our pets is when we don't know and when we don't take them for regular visits to their Vet.  Thanks for the service.  I lost a precious senior cat thru not knowing.  I learned the hard way.

    East Atkinos: Getting Treed

There are very few problems for those fortunate enough to live in West Forest. But, with the abundance of trees in town, it is inevitable that someone will climb a tree and can’t get back down again. Kittens have been known to climb higher than they should and have needed assistance to get down. The occasional adolescent cat takes an ill-advised dare and ends up perched precariously atop a swaying oak four stories above the ground. Occasionally, romantic suitors have been known to squabble, leading one of the participants to hike up a tree and withdraw from the wooing. These minor inconveniences do little to tarnish the many positives of living in this scenic town.

Let’s see who has been spotted in which tree today.

    bus3.jpg
Prince Excalibur dared his friend to climb to the top of the tree behind the veterinary clinic. Good thing medical help is so close by.

    bus4.jpg
Playful kittens and deciduous trees are a volatile combination. Young Matthew Spidey should watch how high he climbs next time.

    bus5.jpg
The courtyard behind the five star restaurant The Fancy Feastery was where two suitors vied for the dainty paw of the lovely and beguiling Hester Tubaflame. She found both unworthy and trees them both. Why? She found them to be vapid and their love poetry to be jejune. They also sang off key.

    bus6.jpg
Here, Juliette walks back to her home after saving three young kittens who climbed too high up. Poor Manny, Moe and Jack were scared to death. Thanks, Juliette, for saving them!

     bus10-1.jpg
Behind the turret of Leech Apothecary, Korot helped get the mayor down from a tall tree. The mayor was going after a cardinal and went a bit too high up to nab his dinner.

    bus14.jpg
Nimble Leugim had no trouble scaling the tall trees on Black Oak Street for a fine view of the town.

    church3-2.jpg
The churchyard is a frequent site for treeings. Rec. Cotton Meowther treed a few parishioners for sleeping during the sermon just last week.

    church4-1.jpg
I would recommend you go up the belltower for a good view instead of the trees.

    forestrow5.jpg
Forest Row, aptly named, sits along the main axis of town. There have been no treeing in the ornamental trees planted along the street. But, behind the commercial complex, it’s a whole different story.

    forestrow-palace.jpg
In the oak filled courtyard, one Ed Oiler has been treed nearly daily. He runs up the tree as soon as he hears the cry start “Edmonton Stinks!”

Just in case anyone was wondering, Zelgadis Junior was in the yard again today. He stayed quite a while and came all the way up to the garage whilst munching on the lawn. I think he lives in the woods in the backyard. Think I should make him a character in Schulmania?

Why oh why are cats so attracted to trees to climb in? Why won't someone just tell them that they can't get that bird by climbing up the tree and jump for it, as they won't get the bird, but will end up with broken bones. And if they are fleeing from a dog, that dog will still bark at the tree, or will try to climb the tree themselves, which isn't that fortunate for that cat. As for me saving the mayor, I only saved him because he said that he who saved him, would get some Buss-castle chocolates, but I still haven't seen any of them. Well, that and the only other people near where cats, whom were to afraid to help. Who is actually the mayor of East Atkinos?

    Greetings,

    Korot

    Schulminion Monetary Union: West Forest

West Forest, the recently-featured capital of the Grand Duchy of East Atkinos, has begun coinage production at the new mint. Coins of all six denominations are now being produced and are expected to enter the commerce stream quickly. Here are the new coins, whose designs were approved by FCapt. Splunt, leader of East Atkinos.
