If you don't have any problems with using the NAM tools (such as Ave Roundabouts and Draggable GLR), then check to see if you accidentally installed duplicate NAMs.

Hello, I am STILL having the problem and have no idea how to fix it. The intersections are all missing, as review, and they are very usightly. Any help would be appreciated.

@fern244: Here is the mod.

Okay, now in addition to duplicate menu icons, I've also noticed that the intersections are having problems.  The turning lanes show up, but the traffic lights themselves don't; just the light poles, excluding the original Maxis traffic lights.  I've tried un-installing the Nam, then re-installing, but no luck so far.  I'd post pictures but as I've said several times before my SC4 PC doesn't have internet yet.  Can anybody please help? Thanks,

-Yoshiisland

EDIT: Well, don't ask me how, but somehow the January 07 version of the NAM got re-installed in my plugins, and I could almost swear I removed it completely from my hard drive.  Turns out it was causing the problems with the duplicate menu icons; go figure.  However, I'm still having problems with traffic lights not showing up.  Again, the intersections still function normally, with all the pathing and turning lanes working just fine, but the red/green/yellow signals don't appear in front of turning lane roads/avenues.  Weird, huh?

I installed the NAM plugins in this order, if you're wondering:

1.)NAM June '07

2.)NAM Essentials

3.)RHW Mod V13 Beta

I do have additional bridge plugins, but I don't think they'd have anything to do with intersections...

I'm currently using the bridge height mod and it's fully compatible with the NAM and all NAM additional bridges.

Bigdogx4: Just to clarify what Yoshiisland stated: You should have no problem using the Bridge-height Mod and the NAM together. However, if you do run into any problems, check the read-me or post your problems here.

Yoshi,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this. The stop light prop Exemplar and ATC files are in "NetworkAddonMod2.DAT" and the graphics & AVP files for them are in "NetworkAddonMod1.DAT. If both of these files are present on your computer, you should have them in the game.

If they are still not appearing, then you have some other mod or file that is overriding them and preventing them from being shown.

Since this is the general discussions thread...

What's the IID of the new GLR rural track pieces? I'm just looking for the straight one. I found an IID, but it seems to be the exact same IIDs as the old GLR rural track pieces. This is causing problems in one of the lots I downloaded that uses the NAM textures (it's supposed to be a rural GLR lot, yet shows up with different rural track textures). Any known method of fixing this?

Sorry for barging in here but i've got a somewhat weird problem. I cant build some of the additional NAM bridges (they dont show up in the selection menu.) namely all highway and avenue bridges (tsing ma bridge, akashi kaiko bridge, krummbach bridge). The weird thing, some time ago i could build them (when i tried em out to see how they look like). Other bridges like street/road/rail work properly and show up in the selection menu... I dunno if the problem occured since i renamed the nam folder but renaming it back didnt help. also reinstalling the bridges and the essentials didnt help.

Anyone got the same problem and know's a solution to this ?

Okay, I had this problem too. What you need to do is install the newest NAM, the NAM: Essentials and then the additional bridges. Make sure all of them are in your NAM folder (You renamed the NAM folder? not sure if thats a problem) and that the bridges load after the NAM: Essentials and the NAM. I hope this helps you out!

I've reinstalled the complete NAM now + essencials and all bridges but its still the same. Street/Road/Rail bridges work properly but no additional highway bridges... Neiter ground highway nor elevated highway. Im trying to remove some plugins now i recently added - like the hsrp beta - but im not sure if its really some other plugin thats interfering with the nam bridges.

After some testing i've found the problem. Its the BLaM Millau Viaduct (from fukuda) thats causing the other bridges to not appear. If i just remove that one all other work.

certhas: The only other problem I can see why this isn't working is actually the bridges themselves. They are designed to have a VERY long span (no suspension bridge crossing a tiny stream), so the only way to use them is to drag a highway over a VERY long span of water (not sure how long).

My suggestion is to start a new large city in God Mode and flood the entire area, leaving a small island on each side of the city. Then, in Mayor Mode, try dragging a highway from one island to the other. Make sure there is ample hight too and the bridges should appear in the "select a bridge" window.

Everytime I use NAM items (i.e. intersection roads), the game crashes. Please help.

That wasnt the problem 2.gif i've allready tryed it with large spans. Well, as i wrote above, its the Millau Viaduct that interfered with all other bridges. Since i deleted that one from the Nam bridge folder all other bridges work perfectly.

Do you use Rush Hour/ Deluxe?  If not, then that's the problem right there.

Don't know if anyone has this figured out yet but...I'm still having this ^^ recurring problem.  The red circles are a bit off, but you can clearly see I'm still missing lights.  I have absolutely no idea what the heck is overriding these GFX files, but I'm hoping someone can give me a solution.  I really can't remember what I downloaded three weeks ago, so is there another way to fix this?

Hi, I am having a problem with some of the features, namely avenue puzzle pieces and draggable GLR. Whenever I click on either of them in the menu, the mouse just turns grey and I get no way to actually build any of them. Thanks to anyone who helps.

@ mpamendez, are you using the elevated puzzle pieces?

@ Macmatt...could you give us some specs on the computer you're using? do you have the NAM essentials, June 2007 NAM, and all patches for the game? you also need rush hour or delux.
