Ugh, I hate large tiles, my demand for residential is off the charts but nothing grows! In tiles further away from my downtown residential grows like crazy...usually medium tiles, but doing pretty good on Concord, but I figure that will change once half the tile is filled, growth just stalls and leaves my city with big empty holes in it. Any tips?

Wow, that was an awesome update. Of course my favorite part was looking at all the tangled ramps and such you've got as one would customarily see in downtown interchanges of any big city. I like the realism of the multiplexed routes as that often occurs within major cities. You've got some good buildings (I particularily like the churches and the hospital) and I like your use of parks and parking lots.

As for demand caps, don't sweat it, I have problems with that sometimes too.

Edit: I had to look again at those interchanges... it must have taken a long time to do those, with so many roads/highways coming together at one place. One can only hope there's good signage there. 4.gif Honestly I must say that those two big interchanges are some of the best I've seen on here, they rank up with some of the great ones Oroen did in the "Downingsford" CJ.

Thanks dfnva...ah that's the journal I've been thinking of Downingsford!!! Yeah...I complete redid those interchanges because before they were a little lame and the one I-60/I-89/FH-15 was just a Maxis interchange! What do you do about busting through the caps?

I'm glad you bumped this, I was about to because I was hoping more people would comment.

I find that when I plop anything that's a "landmark" or "reward" it helps to bust the caps. Some things that come to mind are like Simgoober's churches, etc. Keep in mind too that you've got to have enough jobs to have more people move in, some plopping some commercial and industrial helps too.

Yeah, I added a huge HT industrial park, I'm just plopping things like crazy trying to get some response!!! O well, I'll develop surrounding tiles I guess if nothing works, maybe build a big park or parking lot, haha.

BUMP away! Really seems dead around here!

Well I downloaded the new version of the Census Repository and it has opened my eyes to a few things in my new developing areas...I don't have enough jobs within those tiles...but I have to check this, but I think I have lots of vacant jobs in my Downtown areas, but guess too far for residents to travel...booo...but one of my new areas, has completely tanked and it a really nice rough run down area...

Already have solutions to SC road network problems, diagonal/curved tunnels, bridges, etc!!! YA!

Sessquenna Update 17 - More Delmore Creek Development

I've been stumped in some of my tiles to get jobs or development so I've moved a little north and east of Sessquenna and have started slowly developing industries along the rails and freeways and residential in eastern Delmore Creek.

Explosion of development between IR-85 and IR-89

Just south of the new development is the outer edges of present day Sessquenna, including Hamilton High School

Sorry for the small update.  I had more pictures but I deemed them unusable as some were cluttered by signs and others were just incomplete to my satisfaction.  The next update will include more pictures from the expanding metro area...

Nice update, I like the clash/struggle between the push of the suburban sprawl vs. the rural areas. As for your issues with development, do you plop or grow most of your buildings? I'd recommend plopping if you haven't already to get more jobs, which will then push up demand for residential.

Could someone send me SC4 Lot Editor and whatever else I need for that to work...I can't get it from the website and the download at Filefront always has an error when I run it...I want to edit the NDEX parking lots, the civic/shops/commercial or whatever and make them puzzle pieces, I love the texture for those lots, but want more flexibility with them. Any help would be great thanks!!!
