Great city design.

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

It's supposed to be a sort of late 40s/early 50s sort of downtown. I feel like it's missing something though, doesn't quite have the pizzazz that time period seemed to have.

Oh well.

Day and night in Barrio Bellavista, Ciudad del Lago. What is curious about this CBD is that doesn't correspond to the original city centre, but is a road intersection between a train station and a ferry dock. Originally, just spontaneous office projects thrived in the place, but the Municipality then took iniciative and embraced a joint public-private development plan: huge skyscrapers and a conventions center, aside a complete revamp of the public transportation system.

Downtown Carré. Urban metro population soon reaching 400.000. (only counting directly connected inner suburbs in the surrounding tiles)

The highway created massive commercial demand. No ploppaples or demand mods used :)

It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning to long to believe that the tides going to turn.

I agree. :) The pictures are very heavily photoshopped, though. I'd love to see some unaltered shots.

hah, don't worry, ur girl still look hella fine without make up! I love that convention center with huge antenna coming off it at the edge of the river.  so perfectly placed.  Along with numerous other things

Your LA bank of america building came out real nice, for some reason when I plop mine just sit there floating.  I gotta plop trees around it just to hide the floating base.  Any tips on how to get it to come out like that?

Thanks for fulfilling my wish! Turns out what I suspected: your "girl" doesn't even need make-up! :) That's an absolutely amazing downtown there, lots of details I love.
