The last 4 screenshots really impressed my alot. Until those I have not really seen the game as that great, BUT know I am really intrested alot!!.

The industry screenshot it really nice and I hope to see more like these.

I still think most of the SC4 building look a lot better then Cities XL buildings. Some of the ones created by us at simtropolis are simply amazing.

I like the idea of resources and services accessibility being based on transportation access, not just RADIUS...I'm sad though that the cities will only being 10x10km...I mean my city right now (SESSQUENNA) just counting the urban area and not farms, at least 25x25 km (low estimate)...I understand the limitations, though, Maxis solved that problem with regionplay...and I think Monte Cristo with all their excellent ideas and implementations could upgrade on the region play. i.e. work out some of the kinks...or as I've seen elsewhere, have 10x10km area available for viewing, but then easily be able to move over to another 10x10km area that is still the same city just a different section so as not to OVERWHELM computers with all the stuff that has to be computed and rendered...it is going to be hard to switch to City XL...I don't think it is going to displace SimCity 4 enhanced with all the user creations, at least not right away, but I think as the game is developed in expansions or future editions it could especially if it is open to modification by users

At first I was a bit doubtful about Cities XL...I really thought it couldn't reach my expectations. But now that I've seen these awesome pictures I'm just speechless, thinking what you can do with this game... Really...2 thumbs up 9.gif

Are you serious about those vehicles and scenes screenshots? I can't believe they will look like those, serious.

I know its city building game but do you think someone will create a mod that would let you roam inside of certain buildings? Maybe even let your ride automobiles just like in GTA.

Absolutely stunning!

But one question though. Might it be harder for us to customize our own buildings and utilities because the detail is getting more complex and all? Perhaps anyone knows if they are going to let us use BAT to create our own style like SC4 or not.

I'm quite worried that the community for this game won't be as large as SC4. IMO The reason why playing SC4 never gets boring is because of the online community sharing. Game update that comes out from the players themselves, and not from the patch, makes SC4 continues to grow, but if the graphic of CXL is this great, perhaps it could limit the size of the community? Because less people are going to be able to create or modify the game system.

Looks a lil pale without grass, but I bet someone would be able to fix this with a rural renewal project for XL...

And the desert could need a lil more boulders... same here, someone will make some ploppable rocks, don't worry.

When will it be released again? today? 3.gif

I love the realistic nature of the buildings. I even see container cranes.

I'm getting more and more excited about this game now. I plan on having a new PC by the time it comes out too.

Ugh... avatars... 3.gif (Thanks to Asheroo for finding these shots)

(Before you ask: no, you can't see inside buildings.)

The game looks amazing. I want to see some pictures of large neighborhoods. All what i've seen is so small, even cities with large city centers have small neighborhoods.

LOL, Frost Bank tower. I was just there!

SC4, Forevermore!

Currently preoccupied with architecture school...lurking with caution.

Well now this is something like the Sims and Simcity put together! But one problem, some of the buildings are from Citylife 2008 and World edition.

I really don't understand how this is a problem. If they fit into the game without looking out of place, there's nothing wrong with them being there.
