Hey, I have accidentally deleted some of my plugins and now i don't have those blue grids as the background when i build my city. Would anyone here know what plugin would get the grids back? What i have now is a black background. Thanks very much

You can copy the 5 background images from the game disc Plugins folder.

I've updated to Ep1 build 630 and Bat build 640, and I still couldn't get the nightlight.

Do u know how to solve it???

If you Simcity 4.exe file is version 1.1.640.0, then your game will be nightlight enabled.  Not all custom content has nightlights.  It may take several game days for the nightlights to start working.

Mine still isn't. Everything was updated, as per the indicators (file versions and sizes) specified on SC4Devotion, my BAT and others have night lights, and yet all are still is dark!

EDIT:

I got the downloaded BATs lit, but mine remain dark. Why?

I am brand new to this Forum, but have been around SimCitty for a number of years. I recently received SimTropolis Collection DVD (2 & 3). From what I'm reading, I believe I will need a BAT and maybe a LOT editor, but these come from EA. I ghave nerver beren able to register at EA getting the error message that my Serial Number (actually Game Access Code?) is already registered. Since whoever it was that registered my number (real hard-a 5 digit number!) was apparently not me, I can no longer register. Your thread seems to offer some hope that I can still participate, but I do not know what to download. I only see a BAT installer on your dowmload site and no Lot editor. Can you help me move forward?

You only need BAT and Lot Editor if you want to make custom buildings and lots.

That said, Lot Editor is there on my site. Keep looking.

Thank you guys! That nightlight fix is perfect! I was a bit confused because of nightlights didn't work with downloaded buildings. Now they are!

Hi all,

Does someone already have or can download some lots for me on the official EA site?

My pc crashed and now I can't download the lots anymore because I already have them on my pc, but not in the game and I searched all of my pc, but no lots of this serie. Does someone knows what are links of the downloads WITHOUT the Teleport exchange?

I'm also in the "Game is registered but the EA site refuses to talk to me" crew. I think EA is no longer supporting the SC4 website.

Please give the name of the tool. However, if you want to make maps, you can also use the SC4 Terraformer.

I'm so glad to have seen this. I had the hardest time finding bldgprops_vol1.dat and bldgprops_vol2.dat files, I keep multiple copies now. Funny thing is I seem to lose my landmarks, and other programs, if there not in zip folders when storing in other media. So I'll be making sure I zip this time. Thanks for doing this Zelgadis.

For the most part, they can be used on either (see the original post). Zelgadis made them available because the installer on the official site site wouldn't work on Macs (I think).
