you people are too kind... anyway after fumbling through some tutorials on modelling on the web.... i came up with this proof of concept model... its basically a nice way for me to glass structures of any kind.... well there are too methods really... one cleverer than the other....

Method one... figured out myself.

Hey Patriots, have you considered making that a diagonal? BTW, I loved the Prudential Center when my class visited in October. That is where I spent about $300. Awesome work to all, dudes! Leonardo

Finished this after about 10 hours for my CJ... the first usful thing i've batted (A Nuclear Plant)

Wow these are amzing, I never really appreciated BATing until I really tryed it. A can't even build a house yet and you guys are building huge skyscapers. I never truly realized how much work goes into these. I can't wait til I can build these, it must be rewarding to have hundreds of people use your models.

But of course, it's all going to be inside (this is only one of the many inside slopes...) with a glass/ice mixed roof.  This scene alone is 2.5 million poly.

well it will be an art gallery..... used your environment setup tutorial and use a maxscript set called polyboost three for poly face topology modifications....

MG- Thats abit freaking crazy, but I like it...

Started this one yesterday... I got to re-texture some parts on the roof and give it night lights but apart from that its pretty much ready... draft render so its abit rough.

Here's that Apartment again... the Export failed so it gave me time to sort of tidy things up abit, I'm thinking about making a few variations of this building... this being the first obviously -

Nice work evryone . Here s something i started quite a few weeks ago , ive decided to scrap all the concrete parts and go fully framed, the glass is now looking ,not as bad as it did , but still not realy happy with it. Still need entrances and a lobby , and a few problems to fix too.

The first of the Brighton terraces is finished.  I just need to create some variations

The terraces are taking a bit of a back seat at the moment as I decided to extend the SG-CAL canals with some lots that take them down to Oppie canal depth.  A couple of the lots can be seen in the picture above.  I've just started on the lock lot that will change the level ...

Well, the best way to tell is to save the render file as a  24-bit png with an alpha channel and paste it on a game screenshot and see how well it blends in.

I personally think it'll look fine.
