Within a month the US Treasury must rule whether China is a "currency manipulator", triggering sanctions under US law. With America's U6 unemployment at 16.8pc,it's going to be really hard for them yet again to fudge on the obvious fact that China is manipulating.

For more than a generation we have been living a US style of capitalism ,living in a financial fantasy world, gorging ourselves on debt inside a credit fueled bubble , a system created by a small group of white men ,that forces much of the world to worship before the three gods of modern capitalism ,"Privatization " "Deregulation" & "Global economic liberalization " . Banks and financial companies went bigger and global ,year after year ,lobbying government to relax even more regulations,so they could sell new complicated derivatives and credit default swaps , a worldwide "bubble" of financial products, without anything tangible to support it . Less than 2 years after the bubbles burst ,those who bought the products and many others are now living its nightmare ,while the "system"that brought it about ,appears to be "back to business as usual". Goldman Sash , a financial bookmaker ? Has capitalism now turned to gambling ? Some may call Goldman an "investment bank " but at the end of the day ,its the "bookies shop" . Also social bailouts to save the capitalists?? a social fund bailing a capitalist system , sorry that goes over my head, so without socialism ,capitalism ,at least in the west ,would be on its knee s right now . Socialism or Capitalism? That would depend on the style ,imho. What does the future hold for US style crony capitalism? And what are the alternatives to neo-liberal globalization?

BP Makes "Giant" Oil Find in Gulf of Mexico

Much of it comes from the middle east, where the money either directly funds terrorism or indirectly enables it by propping up governments and societies which tolerate it. A fair chunk of itcomes from Venezuela, where the money supports the regime of Hugo Chavez, who is both an evil dictator and vehemently anti-American (this is why I don't buy gas from Citgo). More comes from Nigeria, which, while not a state that harbors or sponsors terrorism, is nevertheless home to a lot of people who are sympathetic to it, and is also a nation that is not entirely politically stable. quote> One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter ? Hugo Chavez Why ? because he stands up to "Yankee imperialism"?. He has drastically improved Venezuela for its poor. Hes nationalised US companies that were acting outside Venezuelan law so the Venezuelan people benefit. He has won 2 elections and passed numerous referendums with huge majoritys in free and fair votes. Right now hes in Moscow ,doing energy deals and buying arms ,as a deterrant to US imperialism . -

This is laughable BP arent they the ones in Sim societies promoting Green power , yet the go drill the deepest well in the world ,for just 300,000 barrels a day . The good news about this oil find is , it does not increase the trade deficit for the US ,meaning less money going overseas on foreign oil. -

Imho we in a constant cycle of boom and bust ,Economics is insane. In fact the whole system is insane , it demands we take more from the earth every year , turn it into even more things. faster , take ,make and throw away .The more successful they system is the faster it destroys the planet , it assumes we will always discover new energy and new deposits of existing energies . We treat animals as mere commodities ,to make as fat as possible,as quick as possible ,on as little food as possible ,every year we condemn millions of animals to a lifetime of pain and suffering in the name of economics. Its insane that rising house prices are a sign of economic success, when thousands are homeless because they cant afford them . To support a system that every year turns out more , suicide, homelessnes, drug taking ,alcoholism, stress, pain, fear and suffering. W ed be in real trouble if this system worked . -

Yup Sustainable growth is mathematically impossible . Markets are going up as the US gov is throwing billions at it . If you can out sell the US gov the market would come back down again. My sims in New Haven brainwashed by education , allow them to own a lil something they become totaly obedient ,Professionals are the most productive slaves by far . Most of the guru s on mainstream have something to sell you ,i take very little notice of mainstream . This is interesting link to get a picture of the economy AAR Reports Rail Traffic Continues to Reflect the Down Economy http://www.aar.org/NewsAndEvents/PressReleases/2009/08_WTR/081309_RailTrafficReport.aspx Also imho the economy can never fully recover Economics wont let it . -

As a result, believers in the Quran love Jesus, honor him and believe in him. In fact, no Muslim can be a Muslim unless he or she believes in Jesus. The Quran says that Jesus was born of a virgin, that he spoke while he was still only a baby, that he healed the blind and the leper by God's leave and that he raised the dead by God's leave. jesus is God and God is jesus, it took me a long time to figure out the trinity, i mean you'd think something like it is so simple but it really isn't and i am trying to find the words... quote> Be careful here Jesus himself may accuse you of idol worship .In fact Jesus taught that he is the servant and messenger of the One True God, the God of Abraham. (Mark 10:18; Matthew 26:39; John 14:28, 17:3, and 20:17) where Jesus teaches that the one he worshipped is the only true God. See also Matthew 12:18; Acts 3:13, and 4:27 where we find that his disciples knew him as ‘Servant of God’ Jesus is the Messiah. He is a word from God, and a spirit from Him. He is honored in this world and in the hereafter, and he is one of those brought nearest to God. You are determined to kill me, a "man" who has told you the truth that I heard from God’ (John 8:40). Did jesus lie on this occasion ? Im not suggesting for one second he did.

The Financial and Economic Position of the United Kingdom 1931. Memo to Cabinet from Sir Warren Fisher, Permanent Secretary to the Treasury September 1931. Deficits with Inky Blots and Rotten Parchment Bonds sustained. "The seriousness of the financial difficulties which are engaging public attention is perhaps not fully realised. It may therefore be useful to set out the elementary facts. The root cause of the "run" on the part of the foreign depositor is the fact of our living beyond our means as evidenced by our ordering from abroad more goods than we could pay for and therefore our owing to other countries more in dollars and francs than they owe to us in sterling. Closely associated with this fact in the foreign mind is the question of our national Budget. After the war a certain number of countries continued to have difficulties in balancing their budgets and instead of pulling in their belts, resorted to the expedient of meeting deficits by printing innumerable bank or currency notes. Whenever this was done, the national currency lost much or all of its value i.e. purchasing power, and with the corresponding rise in prices, hardship, even hunger, was widespread. Consequently, when any of these countries subsequently desired financial assistance from other countries before the citizens of the latter could be induced to lend, they insisted on the borrowing country balancing its budget. And no one was more emphatic than ourselves in preaching this doctrine. A national Budget has thus come to be regarded as a touchstone of a country's financial stability second only in importance to its international balance of trade; and if, as the case at present with us, we are "down" on our balance of trade with other countries, foreigners to whom we owe money automatically turn a microscope on to our Budget. And if the Budget is not really balanced, but is merely dressed up to look as though it were; or again if the national expenditure is of a scope and type such as to involve (by means of taxation) taking people's saved, up capital and spending it as if it were recurrent income, the distrust abroad of our soundness would be intensified. Any expectation that we might continue on a "rake's progress" would complete the destruction of international confidence and thus result in the final collapse of our greatest asset, i.e. our credit. The remedy is to reverse the process which has been responsible for the trouble, and this means that instead of living at a level which has entailed ordering abroad more goods than we can pay for, we must relate our orders to our capacity to pay. And unless we can produce and sell abroad more goods (including "services") than we have been doing, we shall be forced to cut down our orders abroad, and our and our standard of living must be reduced accordingly.

Whats the arabic word for "apple" its certainly not apple ,but they are one and the same .

Well, note the word "tries"quote> Your premise ? Also keep in mind that Jesus did not leave instructions for every situation you may be in.quote> Are you talking in biblical terms or personal gnosis ? . Many Christians would refute that Allah is the same as their god (because their god would never summon another prophet and author a whole new holy book).quote> I have a very simple explanation for this(if only i could spell it, i hate google search it always says to me "did you mean " we cant all be perfect in everyway-/) , but i wont bore you with it as i have no proof .

Hym , In an ideal world your views would work perfectly , however they are more racist than us , and dont jump on me without going checking that out , they will even admit they are , also a christian living in a muslim country stands more chance of being discriminated against than a muslim living in a christian country you cannot debunk that , and as regards % i know very few European Christians that want to go live in pakistan for example . Personaly i dont blame them for wanting to escape these regimes , however guys like the Islamic Cleric Choudry who operates near me , preaches hate on my doorstep, as a matter of survival im afraid i must tar them all with the same stick for now . -
The Definition of "Christian" ,maybe someone that believes , the God of Abraham is the one and only God . That tries to live by the values "Jesus" showed us , and tries to handle every situation as "Jesus" would ?. At which i fail miserably . Thats ok no problem i do get restless , and eternity is a long time . Id guess 95% + dont make the grade ;-) . "Hell" i think has been exaggerated ,in ghost stories . I try look for logic and come on now ,its not very Godlike to send someone to hell , think about it , it cant be right ,not if god exists. I think hell is you cease to exist , thats hell in itself i guess , but there is no fire and barbaques .i dont think so Also Allah is God , im pretty sure of this as "Gabriel " is mentioned in both books and Surah2 is very similar reading to geninsis ?

Imho the Taliban Bikini is offensive in its very existence, it represents a radical extreme . A french women walking the streets of Saudi Arabia,Afganistan,Iran, Pakistan and other countries ,in a business suit , Knee length skirt , blouse ect would be mocked and abused by some of the more radical locals , she has no form of representation in that country . One set of rules for us , another for them , just a small observation of a much larger picture. Something else i try to understand, the wearer of this garment has pretty strong values and beliefs , this is not fashion wear. If your beliefs are so strong , then why would you choose to live amongst the Infidels in France , however is it not polite to do in rome as the romans do ? . And the women covers herself to prevent provacation, sins of the flesh , In islam moreso the more extreme , A women is no more than the handmaiden of god ,therefore she must do excatly as her husband tells her . -
Ski , Sure that would be a tax investigation they come random, however should you submit accounts with the Chartered accountants seal , then it is very unlikely they will choose you at random (contradiction but thats how it works) . The change , i guess its all part of the gradual dismantling of an Imperial Empire , i remember the Monarch came under lots of pressure from British Commonwealth realms like Australia and Canada ,and also the British Government of the time ,the 70-80,s was a rough ride for the UK monarch , they did want to disband the Monarch altogether . I think it was a compromise . Some countries are still classed as subjects its complicated , these include countries like British India ,Republic of Ireland etc Commonwealth realms, are: Antigua and Barbuda,Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados,Belize,Canada, Grenada,Jamaica , New Zealand, Papua New Guinea,St Christopher and Nevis,St Lucia ,St Vincent and the Grenadines ,Solomon Islands ,Tuvalu Im not sure of the status of every country in that list , it was a another terrible time in history the age of sail .The empire was built at a time if it wasnt British it would of been conquered by the French ,Spanish ,Dutch or Portuguese .We where far more humane than any of these other countries imho .
