fledder200   I checked and there are rooms available at the hotel for Schulman Day. Would April and June be needing a deluxe suite? It comes with a balcony, great ocean view, and a crate of Cool Ranch Doritos. The minibar is stocked with Orange Crush, Mountain Dew Code Red, and Pear Shasta. The caffeinated beverages have all been removed in advance- their reputation precedes them!

RushHourFreak   They may be able to level those plazas one day. They have not yet invented the equipment needed to level the land. But, that day will be coming. Of course, they could do it the old fashioned way - digging. But, that's boring. They'd rather wait till they get some cool bulldozers and such. Hm... this just gave me an idea... Bob the Builder comes to Schulmania!

El Burro   You know, if they would QUIT buying those history books from the lowest bidder, they would get the CORRECT information about where the major artifacts are located!

The Supreme Wirdle and the leaders of the Bureau of Feline Affairs have emerged from a three hour meeting with the long awaited list of winners of this year's Schulman Day fine art contest. The competition was particularly heated. Last year's winner, Ralston Meinhosen, was also invited to be a judge at this year's event. "The quality and variety of entries has given us the opportunity to expand our award categories, and include different genres of arts for recognition" remarked Bureau of Feline Affairs Communications Director Ava Henry. The winners in each category are noted below:

Schulman Day Celebrations Begin!

Part 1 of Team Coverage of Today's Festivities

As night fell across the land on Schulman Eve, the excitement reached an untenable level. Tonight, many thought in unison, the Holiday Hawk will start out on his journeys, followed closely by Buzzard Belle and Ambassador Robert Fox. Good Schulminions would receive treats and presents; bad ones would receive carcasses dropped on their doorsteps. Our first story is following the Holiday Hawk as he delivers gifts to worthy Schulminions.

Many sims stayed up late into the night to try and catch a glimpse of the Holiday Hawk overhead. Before dawn, a lucky few caught a glimpse of something overhead; something laden with gifts. It was.... The Holiday Hawk! He was making his way to Schulmanicus from his nest in a land far, far away. He had a long list of deliveries, as many had been very good over the past year. When morning came, there would be great excitement as little Schulminions ran outside to see what gifts were left in the trees - dropped by our fine feathered friend.

In Smightower, he flew over Donna's house. She had been very good, so she got a set of top-notch cookware and also a new poking stick to get her kids out of bed in the morning! Over Busscastle, he flew first to Fluffy's house. Fluffy had put in a lot of overtime during the past month processing chocolate orders. Fluffy would awaken to a crate of sardines and tuna. Yum! On to Wanda. There, the Holiday Hawk gave Sharon a lovely leather chair. (That must have been very difficult to fly with!) Robin in Wirt would find a new necklace with a big honkin' jewel pendant. Melissa was working the late shift in Stell. When she got home, she would find a crate of bestselling books strategically placed near her door. Over Gran Maru, the Holiday Hawk dropped off an assortment of toys for the kids at the Klingman Institute. He flew by Gov. Cawale's house and left her a shiny new chariot for her commute to the office. On to Atkinos, where he dropped canvases off to Captain Splunt, who was an amateur artist as well as seafaring discoverer. He dropped by Admiral Hestorb, bringing her a new brush for her long, luxurious coat. Before heading to rural Schulmania, he stopped by Kelly's house, dropping authentic and autographed props from her favorite play she saw this summer at the theater in Gran Maru. Once airborne and headed to Schulmania, the Holiday Hawk first went to Erich von Buss' farm. He received a gilded bucket of schulmonetas.

Before we leave the Holiday Hawk, we see him heading toward the north. Where is he flying to next? Who will get the next gift?

Schulman Day Celebrations Begin!

Part 2 of Team Coverage of Today's Festivities

Holiday Hawk and Buzzard Belle had compared notes, made lists and headed out on the appointed day, ripe with offerings both good and bad.

Tightening her circle over Tohmo's house Belle dropped a still dripping, semi-flattened roadkill carcass onto Tohmo's pretentious little patio. "There!" she thought with satisfaction. "That's for your never failing and insufferable arrogance to your fellow Schulminions".

"Still more to go" Belle thought as she made a dive toward Purulentia's house. Though Belle strove for fairness and impartiality always, sometimes she was victim to a sense of justification. This delivery, for an example, gave Belle THE most satisfaction of any of the deliveries, as it was for extreme deceitfulness. "A most unlovely sim trait, deceitfulness" Belle thought aloud as she lined up for the drop. And for Purulentia, Belle made a very special effort. She swooped and dropped the carcass onto Purulentia's lap as she sat in her recliner, a whiskey and water in her hand, having called into work as sick once again! The sound of the meaty "thwack" as it landed on Purulentia's legs was perfection!!!

Onward and upward on a really great updraft, Belle labored on with her deliveries. "Ah. This carcass is for Timidthy, 'Little Man' Upsnort. This will be a vivid reminder that I saw everything he did, knew his thought processes and watched him put them into action. All the behind-the-doors Schulmoneta monetary exchanges, all the promises and deliveries of favoritism --I saw all. I will repay" Belle murmured as she dropped the disgusting carrion down the chimney...conveniently sizing the chunk to stick in the chimney halfway down; sized to stink for weeks!
