Central Karakorum is a 7x6 region map for SC4. It is an accurate recreation of one of the most dramatic environments in northern Pakistan. The map was made using actual terrain data and is not compressed, so the elevation drops are the same as in real life. To achive this result I have chosen an area of this mountain chain that does not contain the most extreme peaks in the vicinity. That means that the second highest mountain in the world, K2, is not present (it is located just east of this region). The same goes for Broad Peak, Gasherbrum and Masherbrum. There are, however, several famous peaks in the map, including the whole Trango group (often quoted as the highest cliffs in the world) and the dramatic Muztagh Tower. For installation instructions: please read the readme-file included in the download. Dependencies: SC4Mapper or SC4Terraformer High Altitude Patch, by Ennedi (optional, but it helps a lot) -

Polnoch Zemlja is a 13x8 large tile region map. It was made using actual terrain data, modified and composed in the SC4Terraformer. The main island is an exact replica of Jan Mayen, located off the coast of Greenland, and the second largest island is made from parts of Björöya in the Arctic Sea. Since this is a big map it might slow the game down on older computers. I think of this map as an Arctic Archipelago in the North Atlantic - perhaps for building a military base or some weather stations - but it can just aswell be used for a tropical environment. There is enough flat land for developing towns and smaller cities (with a bit of work and a good slope mod), but it is not recommended for a huge metropolis. The sea floor is completely handterraformed, and made especially to be suitable for underwater flora. You will find large sandbanks and shallow waters along the beaches, and much deeper waters around the high cliffs (hopefully deep enough for whale watching). You might want to consider this as you chose what terrain mod to use, as some mods don't look so good in shallow waters. Any of Cycledogg's terrains will look good! Dependencies: SC4Terraformer or SC4Mapper. For further instructions: read the readme included in the download. -

Anna Valley is a 10x7 large tile region map for advanced gameplay. It was made using actual terrain data, modified and composed in the SC4Terraformer. There is no actual place in the world that looks like this, but the topography is losely based on the Kali Gandaki gorge between the mountains of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna - hence the name "Anna Valley". It is not recommended for dense urban development, but rather for rural areas with small towns scattered over it. I would strongly suggest using a good slopemod. Dependencies: this map requiers either the SC4Terraformer or the SC4Mapper to function correctly. For further instructions: read the readme included in the download. -
Requesting a short range for a few experimental textures, please! Thanks!

This is my version of an idea originally devised by badsim. It's a traffic generator that can be plopped directly on your roads and avenues. It's designed to fit together with the SMP sandstone sidewalk mod. The zip contains four lots found in the park menue. Two lots spawn heavy traffic, two spawn light traffic. The idfferent versions are made to fit with either american or euro road textures. Dependencies: American Traffic Genarator Optional (but it will look stupid without it): SMP Sidewalk replacement mod -
That would be jeronij's breakwater you are looking for. Try searching the stex for "breakwater" or go to sc4devotion.com and download it there (it's his own site).

Tommiej: I really hope you will be able to get that port journal off the ground. The project looks amazing. I made a very scaled down version of that very same port (not a recreation - more of a port inspired by PoR) covering 4 large city tiles, which is nothing compaired to what you are aiming for, and it took me two full months to complete. I wish you the best of luck, and even if you never finish it's going to be one heck of a ride. Bravo!
