Fallon144    Thank you! Actually, one picture is from Ireland and the other from Scotland. Both can make for beautiful rural scenery. When I was in Ireland, I was especially impressed with the south and west, which was miles and miles of narrow roads, stone walls, small cottages, and pastures. Just a treasure to behold!

The art institutions at the universities and colleges all over Lazarus has finecombed their archives in search of the greatest cat art in history and sent this collection over in celebration of Schulman Day. Introductions to the art works were written by professor Stuart Horder at the University of New Lazarus.

British romanticist Gustav Courbet painted Cat of the World early in his career. He later turned away from cat motifs, but many experts claim that this is one of his best paintings.

French painter Claude Monet may have been most famous for his ponds and gardens, but according to unsubstantiated rumours he really wanted to paint cats instead.
