Did a little re-development around one of the more heavily-used stations in Nashlorn, Nashlorn East. Whilst it isn't a huge change, relocating the GLR to the other side of the station allows for some expansion of services towards the southern side of town. The development also opened up the space for a freight corridor to bypass the station and head into neighbouring Railton.

Maybe not the cleanest and efficient but I didn't want to destroy a whole swathe of town in the process.

Upgrading my only non-RRW region to RRW, I've managed to make the approach to the terminus much more realistic with switching between all tracks now possible.

A lot of rail networks coming together in the capital city of this region.

So the two largest cities in my region, Anclaje (≈550,000 pop) and Interior (≈450,000 pop) are right to each other, but Anclaje is a seaport while Interior is in a valley about 300 meters above sea level. There's also a small mountain range between the two. Since the direct connection is so steep, the only way to build a couple (heavily used) railway connections was by snaking along the mountain passes.

Neither have I! The bridges are eye-candy. Maybe something the NAM team might get around to fixing, If not too busy with plaza tiles and such.

Sadly, this is not possible. Simply put, you can not build bridges side-by-side. You need at least a 1 tile gap between them.

The South Region Fuel and Oil Terminal. Oil comes from local sources and is exported out to sea, while gas arrives by train to be used for local purposes. Also, a local port engine is picking up a pair of flatbed's on the tail track.

So, this happened just beyond the busiest railway station in my region.

I have no idea if this is a bug with SC4's default automata setting or something else... Usually trains collide, err they don't somehow "pass through" each other like nothing happens... Make you wonder why in SC4...

Anyway, this is the HRW Union station, the busiest station in my region's fictional Shaw island. The rightmost line is for international (regionwide) arrivals/departures, second line from right is for domestic routes which see freight trains passing through as well, the second line from left is unoccupied (treat it as a minor repair yard for small technical issues or temporary train parking/holding facility). The leftmost line is for freight trains and occasionally some passenger trains use them (as in the funny example in this post).  

Zoomed-out view (By the way, Imgur says the image below may be erotic, and asks to confirm that I am 18+...):

The area to the east is the urban area, to the south are some farms and fields. It's busy because as you can see from the image it serves the neighboring city tile as well and connect to the rest of the region. 

So, do you guys find the image "erotic"?

There are catenaries included in the NAM, but only for the new Hybrid Railway network. They should be reused for the future High Speed Railway as well, but there's not a clear date for it yet.
