@2ch.net simplayer: Sumida Tower ? What a nice idea. 1.gif

Do you want to make him as a "standalone" or do you want to add the Mall and the two towers ?

This would be great !

Here is the homepage of sumida tower: http://www.sumida-tower.jp/

Under the menue point "facilities" you will find some facts about the Mall and the Towers.

@SimFox: Errm....are you sure, that this piece of cake isn't too big to swallow...?? 9.gif

I mean, Metro Harbour View is a real Monster.

How many tiles it will need..? Maybe 25 x 95 ? 46.gif

Anyway, good luck with it.

You really want Metro Harbour?? That one is huge. Sounds good...but you may want to actually release that a couple buildings 1st...especially the res tower you already have. I Have all the specs on Metro City...which btw looks exactly like Metro Harbour...I wonder if it is the same thing.

I love coffee and buildings.

@bixel

Metro City is 160 m, Metro Harbour 171 m, but both have 50 floors.

Here is the homepage of Hong Kong Housing Society.

This company owns buildings like Park Belvedere, Radiant Towers, The Pinnacle and others.

There you can find block plans and other informations.

Surumi, Bixel: actually it isn't all that big, the entire complex - both Phase I and Phase II will fit on 16x5 lot and if just give a tinny push on 15x4. It could relatively easily be broken into Phase I and Phase II parts which are about half of entire complex. Plus, it could be used as a basis for new arrangement of towers...

My system upgrade will finally come to finish line this weekend. That was longest one in my memory - started in late August!!! so I could get working again knowing what software and hardware i'll be having by the end of a project... Unfortunately there were casualties. Two identical HDDs + StickIt note +zealous cleaning lady do not mix!! as a result 200Gb of date was wiped out... Some of it was backed up, most was rubbish not worth saving, but some stuff was good and now gone. I've overlooked the fact that when Max crushes it saves project you were working on but puts it in Autobackup folder, not in Scenes. When you open program after the crash it automatically opens the file you were working at while the crash occurred. So I never even paid any attention where was it pulled from. And naturally, have overlooked that folder and it was wiped clean... As a result there was very big set back on One Peking Road to which I was really looking to come back. For all this time I was playing with new materials and lighting and such setup that was largely targeted for that model. I'll rebuild it and probably it will be better that it was. But it will take time.

So Guys!!! Either mark everything with permanent Markers or do your cleaning yourself!

BTW does anyone know who's author of this project :

0190C49F.jfif

It look s like sort of knock off  of Paul Andreu's design for Tecknology and Science Center for Chengdu

G01_04.jpg

BTW, Surumi, do you have any info on Oceauns project in Macau? Has it got go ahead or...?

@Simfox

Your pic N° 1 is Henan Art Center in Zhengzhou.

dmscopio want to BAT that (have a look at his post from 10/30/2006 10:35 AM ).

I'll try to figure out who's the author.

About Macau: I think it's an proposal, but I'll try to figure this out, too.

Update Macau: Construction begin within 12 months and estimate completed in 2009.

Nice thread with updates and many HK eye-candies: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=301516

he he he.. well I thought to ask why in HK people still use individual ACs... and also it is amazing how superstitious people are - most complexes wouldn't have tower 4 and other with 4 in it... 4 sounds like death in Mandarin, but not in Cantonese (as I've been told) still it is purged just like floors 4, 14,24,44,54,64... as long as 4 in it they don't want it nowhere near!

You have the same here. Try to find a seat-number 13 in a plane. You won't. It's 12A, 12B and so on.

Sorry, I was misinformed.

Only Lufthansa hasn't seats with N° 13 und N°17 (brings bad luck in Brazil and Italy).

    As I've mentioned in Bixel's thread, I post some photos of the Wonderland Villas with some references and photos of it and see if someone is interested in it.

    The latter one was taken in many years ago when the building was newly finished.

    Totally of 21 blocks of towers connected together and located high on the hill.
