I just download BAT and gmax 2 months ago and since then I have been having fun with it. I made a couple of simple model and improving my skill. So I think now is the good time to share them with you, and listen to your opions. 

I always want to BAT buildings that have special meaning to me. So I decided to bat some building in my hometown city Shenzhen. If you want to know more about the city you can just google it and found some images. I am sure there are tons of pics on web. And there is a very good thread about Shenzhen in skyscrapercity.com here.

So here is a screenshot of the builings I am working on so far:

I am currently working on other project: the Paragon Arena and Avanlade Arena. Maybe I will start another thread later about this two project.

That is a nice surprise. You are obviously very talented, as I can see.

All your models are made very exact after the originals, what concerns color and proportions. Only the size of the buildings do not seem to be correct. A picture in order to compare with other buildings would be helpful.

Well, I guess I don't need to finish my Shun Hing Square then... which hasn't even been textured yet. Yours is better than mine, so I'll stop. Except yours has a bunch of black lines through it, but that is proabably just a rendering issue! Keep up the good work! By the way, you should start posting this in the Hong Kong / Asia BAT team thread.... see my signature for a link. Hope to see you there.

Thank you guys! These are all very good comments. Now I am at my work place, and I will post more pics when I am home later. 

The black lines you mentioned only happen in the game. No black lines in the gmax renders. So I am not sure what's problem. It is been bugging me for a while. 

I will release these buildings when I done my testing. At the mean time I am working on some stadiums projects and the Shenzhen Civic Centre.

Man, I just finished the BAT tute yesterday, and have to say thats amazzing! You can easily get into a BAT team! Wow great work! Upload right away! I just think that the Shenzhen TV station headquarters texture should be a little darker...

Some facts about this beauty:

The tower is a landmark in Shenzhen. The 47 floor tower  was finished in 1998. It is 262 m heigh including the spire. It is now a office tower with a auditorium and dinning resturaunt in the main floor.

I must admit, even though the government in China tends to restrict businesses outside of the zones, by the same token they're able to get so many great buildings built that we couldn't build over here in th U.S. because of resistance and cost. Even they want a building in a certain spot, there isn't much stopping them save themselves. IMO this is a very elegant building, combining multiple styles in one building in a way that each is featured very well.

BTW great building! You've done a great job with it, and I'm sure I'll be seeing it in my cities soon!

great start! and being in Shenzhen is such a bonus!! City has spectacular buildings!! I sort of wanted to do TV headquarter, but am stuck other projects... well there are other buiildings as well... :-)

In Future i would really love to have some help from you, if possible, (pictures mostly)

Thanks guys!! Your replys are such encouragements!! SimFox, it is great news for me to know that you are in SZ. I will absolutly need your help taking pics. I am in Canada now and the only resource is the internet. Sometime it is hard to find what you want. I want to bat the First Tower AKA Jiangsu Tower in the future. It would be great that you can provide some pics of it in the near future.

Heyy I really think your a great BAT'er, but I just tried to download the file thatas on the STEX a little while ago, and it says that the zipped file was invalid, can you tell me wut u did, or wut files you used, cause i cant get it to download into my computer??  Please i need to know, as i said before, I really really like your BAT'ing!
