Blade 2k5- Thanks it took me awhile to come up with that layout but it paid off as alot of sims travel through the city.

jj88 - Thanks. I wish there were more of those super skyscrapers to be had......If you want to see more skyline pics like those, follow my new cj [click sig banner below] and soon you'll will see some impressive skylines under a sci-fi setting.

dadyrghluv - No, those are not from the cj, but another region I worked on a while ago and no longer have....was one of my test regions. Don't worry though, the eye-candy omages of the cj skylines are coming very soon......heh heh.

Gridlock - I use the bottom pic on my desktop, but all four are good for that. I just have this feeling that you'll be changing your desktop image quite a bit in the not to distant future.....

suomi2005: That is stunning imagery! I like the fact that you have midrises and lower buildings mixed inbetween the skyscrapers. It makes it so much more realistic than the usual highrise forests.

wow, some of these picture make me want to commit mass murder. Though some pictures like scotty222 city look amazing. Big buildings with open spaces. Some people just cram them all in and looks but ugly.

veryniceman, most of the buildings you see in these screenshots have been downloaded off of the STEX.  There's a link to it at the top of this page (ST-Exchange).

My downtowns are so small compared to all of these!  lol  My tallest are usually one or two of the Maxis stage 8 buildings, and the rest are all smaller, and my downtowns are usually only the size of a small city tile (in the middle of a large city tile).

It's interesting to see all of the different playing styles.

Here's mine. I'm new here and I don't have much downloaded off STEX. These buildings are all grown, but I do use the 4 Billion Dollar Man cheat/plop, so that makes things easier.

Here is mine. A boring old grid city with as much commerce and residential zoning as I can stuff on a large map, with all industry in neighboring cities. I only used roads, avenues, bus stops and subways. The population just hit 900,000 last night, and there is still quite a bit of map left
