slann ... Thanks for such a great comment my friend. I appreciate the constant support you have shown over the time we have known each other in the SCJU. I hope that Dominea and Alicante City have a great future together.

CDI_spy ... A nice comment that really motivates me to play more.. thankyou.

Mr Piggy ... Nice to see your support here once again. You always have something nice to say. I understand your joke, It's kinda the inspiration really for me, I love Dubai a great deal. At this stage there are no plans to release the Kings Fountain park, too many dependencies, but if I ever do a simpler version I may end up uploading it to the Dudy exchange with my other creations there.

Nardo69 ... Thanks for your observations and comments... yes there is a lot of demand, those Cobb apartments were only one part of the City, it was huge growth all over the place, up to 300,000 in that part of the City alone now.

sloppet ... Thanks for the comment. I appreciate your comments. I gotta say I love your avatar too.

davidtothej ... Thanks for the ideas... I have gotten sick of the same old uni too... always have to spice it up with additional props... maybe you will have inspired someone to make a modular uni.. I hope.

spikeydarren ... Thankyou. I enjoy reading which parts people enjoy the most, so I can more of those pics out there.

Jerebannus XVI ... A pleasure and a surprise to have you comment here once again. I really value your input, such a contrast to our previous situation. I look forward to a more positive role in working along side you at the SCJU. Congrats on 800 posts too.

Simian30125 ... You are correct, it is Panama City, Florida. Never been there myself, but I have seen pictures of it, and like it. I hope you have a safe trip.

helomoto ... Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you like all the details. As for the skyscrapers coming from no where, it's just that you haven't seen the entire City yet. Remember it is already 300,000 sims living in that City alone, and nearly 500,000 in the Region already. I guess I am posting random pictures and not actually following the growth from small town to large City.

Nik-nik ... Thanks for the comment. It's amazing what you can get to grow if you play the game right. The green belt runs the entire length of the downtown, across 2 large city tiles. No I used a different map for St Marque Inlet, similar though.

Bombastix ... Thanks for the comment. Thank DuskTrooper for the Atlantic Tower, after all it is his beautiful creation. I'm really glad you like the Region... it took me many attempts and many different maps to get something I thought I could play SC4 on again after the sad loss of SMI. As for making the map... no, I downloaded from here ... Panama City FL  ... I just adjusted it a bit in photoshop and hand terraformed the mountains.

Once again... thanks for all the comments so far, I really appreciate the support ... and wow... page 3 already.

There are updates coming over the weekend... so keep checking back for more pictures ...

siqueira_SCB ... Thanks for the comment. It's also good to see you here my friend. Such an honor to have you post in my city journal.... Thankyou, adeus meu amigo.

Leech10 ... Thankyou... green is my Cities favourite colour. More is right here...

Lilith ... Thankyou for your great comment. I appreciate it. Nice to see you here at Simtropolis too. I hope to return to the Brasil site soon. Thanks for allowing me to use all your great looking bats too. I love them all.

    Now... on with the update....

This is Banespa Hotel... it is one of the oldest skyscrapers in the City, it was originally home to the Brazillian bank, it has since  been converted into a hotel, but still flys the Brazilian flag out of respect for it's past.

Jardine Insurance is a one of the bigger insurance firms located in Alicante City. It is one of many  Honk Hong based companies that are heavily investing in the future of St Marque Inlet.

Located near the Banespa Hotel is the Star Insurance building, named after it's unique star shaped upper floors. Next to it is the Green Building, a famous landmark that is Government owned and houses many departments, including the most important one, the Urban Planning departments that work closely with the SCJU to ensure that the City follows the guidelines set out by the SCJU.

Last but not least... this location at the end of the Central park has been earmarked for the New Alicante City Police HQ, seen in transperant blue... Next time I'll show you pictures of the Police Station in all it's glory...

    Alicante%20Police%20HQ%20AC%2001.jpg

Thanks for coming and posting everyone... it's been a great response so far, and it makes me feel like posting so many pictures ... but I will keep a few till next update...hehe.

    As always.. Enjoy! 36.gif

Wooooot! That is just absolutely awesome. Stunning. Breathtaking! Awe-inspiring. You get the picture. The banspea Hotel is a great BAT from SimCity Brazil. The added graphics are brilliant. I adore the road layout, although there seems no one likes to drive on there...Oh and what is up with that Police H.Q. That is just brilliantly mental. I look forward to see more of it...

Nonetheless it was a great update, which deserves ultimate recognition...

    Psssst....Thanks for the link...

Hello, Fox! I must say that this CJ is reallllyyy goood and so was your other CJ, I had been St. Marque Inlet since December, until it ended but I had never commented (since I wasn't registered on DudyConstructor, SimCityBrasil, or Simtrop yet, though I was a frequent visitor). Keep this up! It bears a resemblance to SMI. Very funky.

Once again thanks for all the support and comments guys...

magpieshooter ... Thanks for the comment ... Yes it's a big Police HQ, but it is a going to be a big City.

Mr Piggy ... Thanks for the vote of confidence there. heh.. I tend to turn the cars off cause it sucks up so much power... My Cities run twice as fast with the cars off... Besides, I tend to find myself watching the cars more than playing the City...hehe.

wouanagaine ... Thanks.. it's at about 7pm or 6am those shots were taken ... It's just amazing what colours the game can bring to your screens.

Evil Muzz ... Thanks Muzz... glad to have your support.

Yoman3 ... Thankyou. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

jacqulina ... Thank you for your comment once again. I hope I continue to present some great pictures for you.

Bombastix ... Thanks for dropping by once again. My pleasure to answer your questions. The HQ will be shown in the next update... 3.gif

SpecialEddie ... Thanks for being apart of my city journal. I'm very glad you enjoyed the St Marque Inlet experience. So much time and effort went into that playing that Region, it was such a shame to end it. I hope it bears a resemblance to SMI as this is the Capital of SMI. 9.gif

Leech10 ... Once again, thanks for your support here Leech.

sloppet ... I can always count of you for such a great comment. Thanks. I look forward to seeing more comments from you.

Update will be here any day now... Keep your eyes peeled my friends.

Great stuff fox! I love your downtown, its extremely realistic and very cool looking.

There's lots of variety too, its not all in one style or looks the same. Just like a real city would look like, like its grown over the years.

    Cheers mate!

Well....How do you turn off the cars? Maybe with my huge Plugin folder crammed full of stuff it might hasten the game play. Oh and I tend to get into that situation. Where you're in a trance by the cars. I always get that with the trams and trains...

Anyways: Keep updating, and continue the brillaint work...

chocolatemax285 ... Thankyou for such a great comment. It means alot to me to know that you think my creation could be classified as highly as that. I really value your comment.

Mikeaut1 ... Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to post, I hope you enjoy the other updates too.

capitol1 ... I normally play with with a mod to stop the Maxis buildings from growing, it means having more downloaded stuff, but it is sure worth it in the long run. I tend to play with a mixture of both atm though, to add a little more variety.

Micah ... See through, only cause it is a rough visual to what the building will look like, almost like an artists representation. Yup... SCJU since mid last year, awesome addition to playing the game... makes it more interesting if i do say so myself.

Yoman3 ... Glad you took the time to go over the last few pages... I appreciate your effort. I love to concentrate on the landscaping, I think that is one of the most important aspects of my City designs. The Swiss Re HQ can be found here ... Swiss Re HQ by Caliban

    gerAndi
... Thanks for stopping by and being such a great commentor on both Stimtropolis and Dudyconstructor sites. I really look forward to trying to impress you further my friend.

Boggy1 ... Thanks for the comment Boggy... I appreciate it.

thatmonkeysim ... I wanted something simple and not too distracting from the pictures, and I think I made a good choice with this simple boarder. Thanks for the comment.

slann ... What a great comment, I really appreciate the President of the SCJU taking the time from his busy schedule to visit my City Journal and make such a thought out and complimentary comment. I'm sure that there will be many more Diplomatic Relations between our Nations.

Mr Piggy ... Well.. if you go in to the user interface in game, you have a button in the bottom left corner that has 3 small dots on it, you use this when you go to click save and quit, further along in those choices is the camera button and photo album, past that there is the visual options and game specs. One of those brings up a user interface that allows you do such things as limit cars to certain zooms, and other options like turning off the waves in the water, clouds and shadows. It is just a matter of unticking those boxes. Hope you can understand my descriptions...lol...and good luck.

Now... on with more pictures I guess...

Alicante City is a huge metropolis, or will soon be if my plans are to be fulfilled. As Alicante City is the Capital of St Marque Inlet, like all Capital Cities, it needs a central HQ for it's Police to run all of their daily tasks from and oversee all the other smaller stations that litter the Cities and suburbs. My inspiration for such a huge building is drawn from the HongKong Police HQ.. a beautiful building in the heart of HongKong, and I wanted to create something similar for my City... So here it is... the Alicante City Police HQ.

That's all for now... Hope you enjoyed this update... For those of you now looking for this great bat... you can find it here on the Stex ... Buisness Trade Center by skyscraper

Once again... thanks for all your comments every one... and as always... Enjoy!

WOW! Another absolutely stunning update. Once again I find myself in awe...

I love the actual BAT, and it does remind me of Hong Kong's Police HQ, funnily enough. But what surprises me is the huge attention to detail. The numerous parks, and plaza's that make the city unique have a personal character, and not one is similar. I also adore the architecture of your city; it has a blend of western to eastern which combines beautifully. You a very creative and inspirational artist Fox...

Nonetheless the update was stunning. I hope to see some more soon...

Oh and thanks for the advice, also, about the cars. LOL! And of course I could understand.
