The game I remember playing first was Frogger for my super old Mac, then it was SimCity, SimCity 2000, SimTower, and SEGA games such as Sonic.

First game

Sega, my brothes bought one and i used to play sonic2?, lemmings, this co-op game with moving cars and tanks you had to fire at. I still have the sega and the ten games. I never finished any.

Some time after that we got a computer when i was about 5 or 6 and it had simcity 2000 on it and i loved it but one day it got deleted and i coulnd never find it again. I went out trying to find it and found simcity 3000, lol i was not in the know.

after that i got a ps1 with croc, metal gear solid, and others i can't remember.

Then later a new computer with simcity 3000, simcity 4 and sims, and lots of other simulation games

Last console ps2 with dance stage, KH 1 + 2, Kelly slater, burnout takedown and revenge.

Recently new graphics cards g-force 7000 i think with Age of Empires 3, lot's of other games from people who have grown out of them and many them park ones liket theme world and rollercoaster tycoon.

Well now i'm eagerly waiting ps3 and Blazing angels.

My first ever game was Super Mario Brothers on the NES. My dad got one for Christmas in 1986 when I was 4 years old, and I've been a gamer pretty well ever since. 

On the NES I played Super Mario Brothers 1, 2, and 3; Duck Hunt, Nintendo Golf, Nintendo Baseball, Pinball, Simon's Quest, Bubble Bobble, Kid Icarus, Metroid, Goonies II, Spy Hunter, Dragon Quest. These are the memorable ones from my NES days but there were many others as well.

Around 1990 my grandparents bought a used 286 PC for their business, and my PC gaming days began. That machine started my love for RPG and strategy games when I got the entire set of TSR AD&D Gold Box Krynn games as well as the original Railroad Tycoon. This was also my first SimCity experience, when I bought SimCity Classic. Later I also picked up a used copy of Wizardry 7 that (barely) worked on the PC. 

In 1993 I got a Super NES. My favorites for that platform included Drakkhen, Final Fantasy 3, and Chrono Trigger. The SNES was also where I first played Civilization.

The late 90s saw me back at the PC. At that time I purchased a used Pentium class machine that was fairly up to date. On that machine I played SimCity 2000, Transport Tycoon, Civilization II, Caesar III, Command and Conquer, Warcraft II, Starcraft, Age of Empires, Worms Armageddon, The Sims, and Diablo. I also bought an old Commodore 128 with a ton of games around this time, which got me into retro gaming.

 

Within the last 5 years I have been introduced to Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, Civilization III, SimCity 3000, Age Of Empires II, Age of Mythology, Diablo II, Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale 1 and 2, Neverwinter Nights, and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, and the Grand Theft Auto series.

Currently I am playing Diablo II, Civilization IV, SimCity 4, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind with Tribunal and Bloodmoon, TES IV: Oblivion, Sacred, Railroad Tycoon II, and GTA: Vice City.

I am also a heavy game modder, although most of my mods are for personal use. I have made mods and plugins for Civilization III, Morrowind, Grand Theft Auto (original), Vice City, and SimCity 4.

Well, thats about it for my first game and my history as a gamer.

How could I forget the Heroes of Might and Magic series, one of my favorite game franchises. Played all of those but HOMM5 so far.

The first game I played was Pong, over at a friend's house. 

The first PC game I played was the old Soviet version of Tetris.

The first game I remember playing was 3D Chess on an ancient computer, must have been Windows 95. I also remember playing an archaic version of Solitaire and Minesweepper on that same computer.

I then remember buying some HotWheels computer game which was on a 3 and a 1/2 inch floppy disk, along with a little car you got with it. My first real introduction to gaming (and probably the reason I love Nintendo so much) was when I played GoldenEye on my friends Nintendo 64. I was blown away by the graphics, and the idea of the game, particualarly on multi-player. Shooting your friends? What a BRILLIANT idea! From then on I nagged my parents for a Nintendo 64, and I got one that christmas, along with GoldenEye, Wave Race 64 and Super Mario 64. Super Mario became an instant favourite as well, anbd it took my quite a while to complete it (a year or two if I remember correctly, I wasn't as fastidious at gaming as I know am!). I tallyed up my game collection for the N64 until about 2000, maybe 1999, when I was introduced to Pokemon by a friend.

At that time, EVERYONE played with Pokemon cards, even the kid that hated the nerdy kids had them. And if you had a GameBoy with one of the games you were a legend in the playground. It took me a while, but I finally got my GameBoy Colour for christmas, along with Pokemon Yellow. After a year of playing this, I was still engrossed by Pokemon, and for my birthday, I got Pokemon Gold... before it had been released in the UK (from some specialist suplier or something). As you can imagine, this was unheard of at my school, and for a while, EVERYONE wanted to know me and play my game. Then, after another year or so, Pokemon became uncool, no one played with cards or GameBoy Pokemon.

I think it was 2002, I was engrossed in the progress of the GameCube, and it had been placed on my Christmas list long before I wrote it. That christmas, I got my GameCube with Star Wars Rogue Leader (the game I really wanted my Gamecube for) and Pikmin (which would grow into a much loved favourite of mine). I accumulated my GameCube games until 2006 when there was something new to be interested in...

That controller... The Virtual Console... It was the perfect console. The Wii. It's sleek design was the stuff of my dreams, and they were for many people, because stock was so limited that they were hard to come by. Just before Christmas, on the 21st of December, we heard that a batch of Wii's would be delivered to Game nearby the next day. My dad agreed and we arrived there for a 9 o'clock opening. There were 6 people in the queue in front of me, but that didn't bother me, but it should have. I waited until 11:30, all 8 of us were srtanding in a circle talking about it when a worker wandered by us speaking into his walkie talkie "I've just got to take this delivery". We stared at each other and moments later I spotted 6 boxes with "Wii" labelled on the side carried into the shop. I couldn't believe it, a Wii! But my excitement was shortlived as I realised there were 6 Wiis, and 6 people infront of me in the queue. On christmas I receieved an "I O U" for a Wii, and I searced and searched and scoured the internet for a Wii. Nothing without having to wait 14 weeks for delivery.

In February, I was in Koln in Germany, and having just visited the Cathedral, we were walking down a shopping street. Through one window something caught my eye. Wiis. Stacked from the ground to waist height, about 5 along and 5 wide, a stack of Wiis. I couldn't contian my excitement, but something told me this was too good to be true. I ran into the shop and approached the pile. No melee of people like I'd heard of. They simply sat there, content at their place on the ground. I picked it up, it was heavy, there was something in it. This was the day I finally got a Wii.

the first game i rember playing was on the old amstrad back in 1992 the game was called oh mummy. then that got boring so i bought the sega megadrive. 2 years after it was released . then a couple of years passed i must of had about 80 games my faves were all sonic games and sonic and knuckles .then i sold that then got a snes witch was very good the mario allstars was my fave and i cant forget mario kart a classic. that passed another couple of years then in 1998 i bought a nintendo 64 with super mario 64 a brilliant game completed it so many times. then the dreamcast in 2000. but did not have this for long because sega went bust as far as i know. best game on that was crazy taxi then i bought a gamecube in 2002. still got that now various games were good on that as well best has to be super mario sunshine then in 2004 bought a ps2 still got that with 85 games best on that was gta san andeas then got a original nintendo ds still got that but updated to a lite got 12 games for that best game new super mario bros then i got a wii for christmas in 2006 got that as well with 5 games best has to be wii sports it is is a new way to playing games because it is all controlled by remote and it is move sensative so i have gone from a amstrad to a wii in 15 years quite impressive how things have changed in that time

Shufflepuck Cafe, on our old Mac. God, I loved that game. Classic B&W goodness.. There was also this game where you had to collect keys to open doors.. sorta a puzzle strategy game. Not sure the name, though. Loved that one too, though. After that, I think it would have to be SC2000. Whee, classic game goodness!

Anyways, the first games I remember playing way back in the early 90s were Super Mario World, Sonic 1 and 2, and of course, SNES' SimCity. I didn't really play during junior high, but I begged and begged for a computer on which to play SimCity2000. I never got my wish and got sidetracked with a PS due to the incredibly addictive nature of Gran Turismo. 170 cars aaalllalaagglaaalggga... I also got Final Fantasy VII, which is the first game I played all the way through and beat by myself. GT2 was eventually added to the list. After high school (class of 99) my family FINALLY got a computer, enabling me to buy SimCity 3000, reminding me of just how much I love the series. In college (2001), I got a PS2, NCAA Football, and GT3 A-Spec. While studying in Japan I was turned on to Civ3, which consumed much of the next year. After that I recieved SimCity 4 Deluxe as a birthday present from my enabler fiancee, and now have a Wii, producing a healthy rotation of old school VC SimCity, PS2 NCAA Football 2007 & GT4, and Civ 4 & SC4. I love video games, almost as much as I love comics. Almost!

wow, too difficult to remember what my first game was. probably pacman or pong or something else on the atari systems back in the 80's.

some of the first PC games i remember playing were moon patrol, maniac mansion, and airborne rangers on my old commodore 64. after that i mostly played games on various consoles. here are some of the games i remember the most:

NES: contra, mike tyson's punchout, super mario brothers, duck hunt, ninja gaiden, double dragon, castlevania

SNES: simcity, the madden games of the early 90's, starfox, street fighter II, nba live series

PS: madden series, metal gear: solid, various puzzle games (puzzle fighter II, bust-a-move), gran turismo, final fantasy VII

PS2: madden series, GTA III and vice city, metal gear (sons of liberty), final fantasy X

PC (currently): simcity 4, rome: total war, call of duty

soon I got a Nintendo 64. I was introduced to Super Smash Bros.

then I got a Gamecube, played some more mario games, then I got a Wii, and played more mario games. So as you see, I've been a Nintendo Player. I didn't start playing SC till 2000, then moved on each SC game as it came out. (SC4 was 2003)

It was either on the Atari or Atari 2600, but the console had fake wood laminate on it.  The games I remember are Pong, Space Invaders, Superbreakout, Tank, Pitfall 1 and 2, Pacman, Buck Rogers, River Raid, Missle Command, Atlantis, and Keystone Kapers.  I think it was 1984 or '85.   

By the way, does anyone remember Tandy computers?  lol
