About This File

e2i Tower was BATted by Eric Burress (aka eburress) and Modded by Equinox

Description:

e2i Center is the international corporate headquarters of e2i Incorporated, the world's premier Internet consulting firm.

After acquiring Luminant, Sapient, Scient, and KPMG, e2i was in desperate need of office space, which necessitated the construction of their new headquarters tower.

Explanation:

This lot comes in three versions: a plopable lot, and two growables.

The specifics for each are as follows:

GROWABLE CO$$ (file: "Eburress' e2i Tower - Growable CO$$.dat")

Lot Size: 3x3

Tilesets: New York, Houston

Power Required: 60

==================================================Regardless of which version of the lot to use (or all), you NEED the following two files! "Eburress' e2i Tower.SC4Model" and "e2i Center Query.dat". Without these the lot will not function properly!

==================================================

Remember, for nightlighting on BAT-made objects to work in SC4,

you need the patch specifically for nightlighting! It is available

on Maxis' homepage, under "Cool Stuff" > "Tools" > "B.A.T."

Enjoy!

Equinox and Eric

This is the good stuff :) great building, well modded, well packaged and a great query to go with it all. All lots should be like this.

hahaha...there are no flashing stars because NintendoMaster128 thought the base "seems kinda plain." Oh well...maybe he will enjoy the base of my next building better. :)

There are more props in the growable versions ... but of course NM didn't look into that before he voted, I bet. :/ Anyways, I'd like to extend a big thanks to chasemiles0, who provided a way for me to get the files back to Eburress considering my FTP was down...:D

Hmm ... about the New York tileset ... I didn't know it was 1940's, LOL. You can fix that by removing the third rep of the OccupantGroups property in the growable DAT version you choose to use.

Really cool...looks like a typical Houston skyscraper. Excellent work! The crown reminds me of Wachovia Financial Center in Miami...so I guess it looks like a Miami skyscraper instead of a Houston.

You're right! I based the building on Miami's Wachovia Center. I didn't like the back of the real-life building so just repeated the front of the building. Also, more noticably, I used glass. ;)

Beautiful. Why not have a green one? With a Vodafone logo? There's a building almost exactly like this in the Chatswood CBD, Sydney, but it's dark green, and also owned by Vodafone.

Those palms are N747's "Vice Palm" prop set I believe it is called ... placed on a custom lot of mine in a random prop family ...

Darn cool! Hey! I hosted that for you to download! I remember this. I hosted it on my site FTP while you downloaded. Hope you gave me credit. I'll give it a 10. It is cool.

This was the first skyscraper to appear in my city. Your building's night lighting is truly magnificent in my city.
