About This File

My first and probably only region map for SimCity 4. A version of the Hong Kong area, made with the heightmap tool https://cotamap.com/ and the photopea online image editor. I used SC4Mapper to turn the heightmap into a region, and then rendered all the tiles in SimCity 4.

The specific area chosen was based on an old SimCity 4 region of Hong Kong I found somewhere long ago, but can't remember the source of (and also can't find it online anywhere).

Hi @Ahrnuld, nice looking map. Thanks for the upload. :) 

Wanted to point out that the name is "Paradise" in the region.ini file. Not sure if that was intentional, but folks will need to look for that name that rather than "Hong Kong" when loading the region in the game - unless they change it.

That's my home city! I am sitting right in the middle of it while typing this on my computer. 

The terrain is rather accurate. Nice upload.
