Another week, another map! This week let's take a trip to California's Central Coast and the Monterey Bay Area.
Monterey Bay is located south of Santa Cruz and southwest of the San Francisco Bay Area. It is known for year-round, cool and comfortable seaside weather and being a tourist attraction for visitors to Northern California being home to attractions such as the Monterey Bay Aquarium (aka the "Crustacean Institute"), the Pebble Beach Golf Courses and 17-mile drive, Big Sur, the Bixby Bridge and the European-inspired town of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
The map is 24 x 20 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data.
Some of the cities and areas included in the map are:
- Monterey
- Seaside
- Carmel-by-the-Sea
- Salinas
- Moss Landing
- Big Sur
- Carmel Highlands
In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format.
