I'm still searching for high res photos. Will work on the major bus companies in the Philippines. Will try making a jeepney mod.

it would be great to have hi-res photos of all these buses - front, rear, top and both sides of the buses. Unfortunately, its not easy to find good photos on some of the buses.

I just saw a "Ceres" bus while I was going to fairview from SM Fairview. It was along Belfast Avenue :)

These buses look pretty great judging from the previews. Would you provide an in-game picture, too? It's general STEX policy to include one. Anyway, thank you for sharing -  there aren't that many people who make automata.

 

Oh, one more thing: It says in the description of the bus you took as a basis that the bus will replace the default bus. Will your re-skin behave in the same way?

Yes, I'll be posting in-game screenshots. You have to choose one bus skin for your game as it will replace the game's default bus.

Love how "The Bus of Death" looks in game :D

 

Now time to plow down some SIM pedestrians and crash into other SIMs' cars :D

 

And maybe even fall off an overpass :D

 

I found a minor but non-game breaking issue with these bus mods, or rather something which was inherited from the base mod you used. In game this mod makes a duplicate of the "Bus UDI Icon" making it appear as if there are additional bus UDI vehicles available from the menu. But which ever you select you'd still get the bus skin you chose to install.

 

Say I only installed the "Don Mariano" bus skin (& I assure you that I do not have any other Bus UDI reskin or additional automata mods installed), the mod then gives me two Bus UDI icons on the UDI menu.

BTW, do you have high-res images of jeepneys on all sides? I think i'll give jeepneys a try.

Dude why don't you start a Support thread on the forums, so we can put all reports and other feedback there. And maybe requests as well, if you are taking any of course.

 

As for Jeepneys, I don't exactly know how you can implement Jeepneys in SC4 because they're a totally unique form of transportation. They could fit in with buses but are still different than buses.

 

Do you play Cities XL by the way? I feel that game will have a better chance of having Jeepneys than SC4 because you could make Jeepney skins for use with the game's "Mini Buses".

 

As for pictures, why don't you just use free 3D rendered Jeepney models over at Google's Sketup warehouse? As an example:
