About This File

Hey there,

this is the world map from the world of "Elder Scrolls", the first release of this map from me, in later releases, when time permits, i will go into detail more with the rivers in land.

the map contains 6 x 6 Large cities (36 cities).

Once the file is downloaded, extract the contents to your regions directory, as in place the folder "Tamriel" into your Region folder.

Then start up the game load up Tamriel and then press " Control + Alt + Shifft + R" then once the screen has popped up, navigate to the Tamriel.jpeg file in the regions --> tamriel folder and then go make yourself a drink! Obviously the more RAM etc your computer has, the quicker the map shall render.

No Dependencies.

When I saw this I immediately wondered how to create such a detailed region. The description told me before I could look it up myself - thanks for your incredibly quick but explanatory how-to, but mostly for this awesome map - I'm so going to try this myself!

How did you get DEM data for a fictional place?

i used several if not dozens of reference pictures and made it in photoshop, adjusted it in geocontrol 2 then did the final bit in landscape designer.

Hey I need some help, maybe It's just been so long since I made a region that I am out of practice... But I couldn't find a greyscale image in the files, don't you need one?

Also What is SC4-Terraformer? It says I need that to use, but I didn't use any other programs for old regions :(
Sorry about the dumb questions, the island LOOKS amazing! I am very much chomping at the bit to use it!!!

This is a really nice map! I have a newby question since I've never tried downloaded regions befor. I've copied the files to the correct folder, opened and loaded it in Sim City 4 (new version for macs) and I've tred the ctrl-option-shift-R window but it's not working correctly (I can't navigate at all). Aspyr support says:

"The command prompting functionality is not supported with the App Store re-release of SimCity 4 Deluxe. We will be removing it fully in an update but it is not supported as the forum instructions are for the PC version.
Thank you.
Aspyr Support"

So... how can I get this to work or am I out of luck? If I am I do have a 6x6 blank region to do with what I will!
