If you're making a lot using someone else's BAT, put that BAT as a dependency. Do [b]not[/b] upload it if you do not have the creators direct permission.

Besides the warning above, the lot needs a lot of work. 2/5 for now.

Its better than the Maxis one, people should have options I noticed there weren't many stock exchanges on the st-ex so I through this together, either way its just a basic stock exchange lot for a larger city, take it, leave it or lot it to your own personal taste maybe.., enjoy. I give it 3/5.

The uploader [i]has[/i] credited the original author of the BAT model and has listed it as a dependency, but he's also included it in the zip. It needs to be removed from the zip.

I'll leave this approved for now because... well I cut you a break seeing as you’ve obviously put a decent amount of thought into your first upload. Just please [u]remove the SC4Model from the zip ASAP[/u] to avoid hearing from me again.

Will do, I have also PM-ed the author asking for permission if he says no its gone, sorry I'm a newbe, I just can't stand dependencies, 5min and I will fix this k. I am not a bad mayor just a bad wizard...

Your description is well presented, hence why Cockatoo is very lenient. However, there are several reasons why we should not download this one:

1. The final result does not justify replacing the original Maxis Stock Exchange, simply because the original looks good enough.

2. Downloading this may mean we lost the original Maxis lot, but Berethor07's original is available separately anyway, so why bother?

3. Your lotting effort is ok, but not nearly strong enough to justify replacing the Maxis original. You also make this one 5x6, much larger than the Maxis original or Berethor07's original, with no good payoff.

Overall, as a first upload, it is nice that you try something, but it is really not very useful. I will be kind and give a 3/5 as it seems you did put some thought into thinking how to change the in-game Stock Exchange. Hope your next upload will be something really useful and inspiring.

1) "looks good enough" is entirely subjective and a matter of taste. There may be people who appreciate a more modern look. It is up to anyone to decide whether this download looks [i]better [/i]or [i]worse [/i]than the Maxis SE, but in any case it looks very [i]different[/i], and that's enough to justify it in my books.

2) Because a downloader may actually WANT to replace/override the existing SE instead of having two of them clutter up the menu?

3) I agree that the [i]lot design[/i] is a bit lackluster, but [i]lot size[/i] isn't necessarily an argument IMO. Some downloads have been made particularly [i]because [/i]Maxis' version was too small and unrealistic - think of maxis' Nuclear Power Plant and el_burro's version, for example.
