Hao Tian Condominiums  1.0

About This File

Hao Tian means "good weather". These "Hao Tian Condominiums" are perfect on the shoreline during the summer or at night during clear skies due to the top floor large public area. This enables people to breath the fresh air in a bustling, hectic city and relax for a second or two. The large top skylight is perfect for those clear, starry nights to spend an evening with that special someone.

Modifying this mod and then passing it as your own (without my permission) can be seen as copyright enfringement.

To install:

Simply place into the directory of C:\...\SimCity 4\Plugins in your "My Documents" directory or in the program files directory if you so wish (adding Sub folders inside the SimCity 4\Plugins will work if you want to keep your files more organised).

Note: I've included two instances of the 2x2 lots and two instances 2x3 lots as you don't see them very much in-game. If you don't want the risk of them sporadically growing in your city, delete one R$$4_2x2_ file and one R$$4_2x3_ file.

Dependencies:

None

Statistics:

 • Lot Size(s): 2x2, 2x3
 • Growth Stage: 4 (Medium Density)
 • Capacity: 32

For more statistics look in the readme.

This definitely needs better textures and a lot more detail. Right now it looks atomically bright, as if it lacks textures entirely! It's not a bad attempt but your models need much more work before you release them.

Oh, nice modeling, But you need some textures on.
Go to google images, and search what you need, for example "white wall texture", etc...
when you fidn what you want, save the picture in your pc, then drag it on the part you want to put a texture on.
Don't worry about the quality of the texture when you see it in gmax, judge on it after seing the preview of the BAT, because the quality becomes better after exporting the BAT, or when seing it's preview in high quality.

There are no defined lines, everything looks blended together, not crisp. The modelling is great, textures need work though.

I like the textures as they are, because they bring a more futuristic style in the building :)

Textures are totally unrealisitc, even for a futuristic building.

Yes and you know this because you can see into the future and know exactly what futuristic buildings look like. :meh:

The texturing could use some work but the B.A.T. is very nice. Always room for some improvement.

Well if its purpose is supposed to be futuristic, then I think its excellent! I actually love the BAT and I would love to see it improved because the model is just so nice.
