im just curious, Orange's terrain mod had a lot of beach in low lying areas. will this limit those low lying beaches to the parameters set by this mod? im using another terrain mod now but would love to switch to orange's if this limits the beach size. either way, great work!

Wow, this looks awesome. Just a quick question: I have a lot of buildings on the coastline for some of my cities. If I download this beach mod, nothing will happen to the buildings, right? I mean, they won't get demolished, right?

Unfortunately, this mod has made absolutely no changes to the length of beaches in my game. This mod wouldn't conflict with any others?

For anyone facing problem, please rename the dat file with "z_" prefix so it load LAST. For example "z_B98_Beach_Extend.dat".

I unzipped this file to my plug-ins folder, renamed with a "z_" prefix and logged into game and loaded up a city and mod doesn't seem to work. I am a $%&^! to this game and this was the first mod I tried to install that wasn't a self install. Is there something special I need to do to get this to work. Since I don't know how to create my own maps, I am forced to play the Maxis maps, but those maps practically have cliffs for beaches. I figure this will make those Maxis maps better but can't get this to work. Thanks in advance for any help. - I'll be checking back periodically.

Try to rename it by adding "zzz_" on the dat file without the quotation mark, it works for me. Hope it helps you.

If the mod seems like it's not working your beach might be too steep, try using the plains tool to level the beach and the effects will be seen.
