Did you ever feel like a single beach lot just wasn'e enough? Was the original beach too large to fit where you wanted a beach? Well, here's PEG's alternative set from the Legacy release...

Similar to PEG Beach, this is an altrenative to the Maxis beach. However, this is a set rather than a single beach replacement. This archive contains 6 new beach-alternatives to beautify & grace your coast lines. All of these beaches are PEG (Peformance Enhancement Guarenteed) products in that they contain no seagull animations. These lots are also fully self-contained with no external dependencies.

* These lots are accessable from your Parks Menu. They each have a varing degree of 'Park Effect' that will add to the desirability of the area.

PEG Beach Lot Description (North & South Style):

* These new full-sized Beaches are direct replacements for the original beach. The southern-styled Beach is almost visually identical to the original PEG Beach but has been modified to be easier to place... and now replaces the game's original beach in the Parks Menu.

The northern-styled Beach includes the new wooden boardwalk custom texture and has trees more suitable to northern climates. Most of its other visual aspects are the same as the southern-sytled Beach.

Note - Only the normal (southern-styled) beach will replace the game's original beach in the Parks Menu. The northern-styled PEG Beach will not.

* These lots are Pegeons0522_LS compatible and contains the Pegeons0522_LS.Dat patch.

PEG Mini Beach Lot Description (North & South Style):

* This smaller beach offers all the benefits of a normal-sized beach in a smaller, easier-to-place package. The Mini Beach is perfect for dressing up your coastlines in areas where a full-sized beach won't fit, or available real estate is scarce. The lot also has been modified to allow easier placement.

The Mini Beach also comes in northern-styled, complete with wooden boardwalk and trees more suitable to northern climates. 

* These lots are Pegeons0522_LS compatible and contains the Pegeons0522_LS.Dat patch.

PEG Micro Beach Lot Description:

* If the Mini wasn't small enough for you, try out this new Micro Beach... a mere 3 x 3 tiles wide and likely to fit almost anywhere. But be careful where you place this little feller. Not being to deep or high, the waves will come up awefully high if placed on steep terrain.

Waters Edge Park Lot Description:

* And because somethimes even 'micro' just isn't small enough, you now have the 1x2 tile Waters Edge Park. Able to handle fairly steep slopes, this tiny beach-park is perfect for adding the finishing touch to your shore line. It also looks great as an embankment for bridges and other shoreline facilities.

Installation Instructions:

After unzipping the file, copy the .dat files you want to use to your C:\My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins folder. You can install just the ones you want... and freely swap or remove beach styles without affecting the beaches already placed in your cities.
