Nice, well modelled and textured..but like you say "not based on anything" therefore some of it doesn't really make sense

^ Most of it makes sense to me. It's not based on anything in particular in real life, but it's shapes and details make sense...

Bahaha genetic office building :P i think he meant generic. anyway, good job! it looks like it could have used a little more detail though. try playing around with max's material editor. Once you get the hang of it you can create glass and a ground plane that mimic RL reflections much better, and you can apply materials to the hvac/water stuff on the roof that currently looks untextured. Great start!

@RadicalOne: It's easy if you use 3ds Max. Just create a material; mental ray > glow. Then go to render settings and choose a rendering shader ( Rendering > Render Setup

u should try enhancing the lot. yea, there's not much u can do with this building since it uses a small lot, but u can always make an additional one with a larger lot and enhance it
