About This File

Salam! Hye!

So, yes, this is my Second Building / Lot !  9.gif

It is an office that suits the suburban and rural environment made by me.

Find the building on Landmark menu, but no jobs. Just a landmark.

Yes! It has No Dependacies!

And THIS TIME I GOT THE RIGHT FILES. Sorry.

Because the last time I forgot to put appropriate files  so it shows a big brown box.

I'm still new tho. 9.gif

This isnt half bad. I actually kinda like the building. But the lot isnt that great. You should download a bunch of texture packs and look at all the lot textures to choose from. Same goes with the props. But overall this is nice.

I'm just wondering since it said landmark, does it function as a landmark only, or does it include jobs? Some additional info would be nice as a general rule of thumb for uploads, but it looks fantastic. 5/5 easily.

dependancies are files that make your file work: say you download a tree, so if you don't have that tree for a dependancy, it won't show up or it will be a box. But anyways: Great lot! I'm not sure why pagenotfound doesn't like the texture, I think they're amazing!

I still don't know how to mod. Guess maybe it is time I need to learn. Otherwise, this seems look fine to me for a 2nd upload. I will keep an eye on your future work.

i would make this exact lot a growable building, and the link to a tutorial to mod stuff so it has jobs is here https://www.simtropolis.com/omnibus/index.cfm/Main.SimCity_4.Custom_Content.Making_a_Functional_Landmark_Lot

Of course you don't NEED dependencies for a generic lot, especially if the building occupies most of it. However, I think the lot textures look a bit randomly arranged. There's no clear concept like a footpath leading towards the entrance, a parking lot in the back, etc. Likewise, some trees seem to grow right out of the pavement.

I like the model a lot! I'm not too picky about lots, especially if the BAT covers the majority of the lost, like it does here. If only it were growable...
