About This File

Highway 4 Freeway Signs

From The Blue Hope City Journal

OVER 140 signs at your disposal!

IMPORTANT!!!

You MUST follow the instructions in the readme file located in the zip file before proceeding with installation or it WILL NOT WORK!This is the long awaited 140 Highway Sign Package WITH the "DAMN" management. These signs will NOT appear in your standard SC4 menu, but will be organized into your News Ticker and accessable on demand so they will not clutter your menu's.

This sign package took me over a year to create and I still have the desire to share it with Simtropolis in hopes that it will give members greater variety options for their freeway network. Combined with the new RHW, I feel it is a great addition. This package will give you the following placement options below...

RHW-4 / GHW

RHW-6

RHW-8

MIS

Diagnal

Sunken

Amber Alert

Offset Placement by up to 3 tiles

And EXIT signs

DEPENDENCIES:

Optional: https://www.simtropolis.com/STEX/details.cfm?id=22497 (Allows you to see more selections at one time)

I hope that you enjoy this production... You can check out videos featuring these signs here...

Sorry dude, but I followed your directions to the letter and your signs are not showing up anywhere .... Highwaysigns.zip into my documents... go then the DAMN folder in Sim City 4/plugins directory open up the SUPPORT dir and click the bat file... done all that and even though the Open Additional Submenus is present it does nothing

Cravo16: You installation plugins folder is located in the directory of which you installed Sim City 4 on your harddrive... typically "C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Plugins"

THAT is a lot of signs, dont think ill run out of signs now..... i do have a little issue with it tho. They seem a little specific rather than generic and i think the lots could use transparent base textures. Nice work tho :D

I think your pack doesn't work on win7 because of the plugin directory adress which seems to be different than the one in the command file. Please tell me more about how to fix this if it's possible. Thx

leoecn / mikeyb44 - I'm going to look into this as soon as I possibly can - but the indexer really only writes to a .txt file which DAMN looks at to address where the menu management files are located. It should be easily worked around by manually imputting the folder directories / file names of the menu dat files, just will take more time. figgy - I'm completely confused, more details here.. What did you run that said it couldnt find the files? Was it the indexer file?
